[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is more quiet then I expected, just a bit noisier than iron. Does really good job in cleaning, only bottom rack is easy to fall out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like my quiet and excellent cleaning dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously I had a Kitchen Aid. It washed dishes very well but after 7 years, it became super noisy. I replaced it with the Bosch. the 39 decibels is really quiet! Without the red glow, I'd never know if was on. And the dishes are as clean as when they were first purchased. The only minor issue is that this washer asks for Rinse Aid OFTEN.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher as a replacement for a builder's appliance that lasted about 15 years. So far, the dishwasher has been running great, and most importantly, cleaning extremely well. Hardest part is breaking us of the habit of rinsing all our plates! This has only been installed for two weeks, so we'll see how things last.
Since this was a replacement, I installed it myself. I went and bought a new water line given the other one was so old, and you need a brass fitting that doesn't come with the dishwasher (but if you buy a 'kit' it is in there with the line). It only took about 20 minutes to take out the old one, but putting the new one in took about an hour (I'm not a plumber!). The 'hardest' part of the install was the special power cord and junction box the dishwasher has included. The junction box can not be installed behind the dishwasher, so I had to drill another hole in cabinet and mount the junction box. All in all, the installation went smoothly. The only thing that wasn't completely clear was what to do with some insulation that came with it that looked like it went on the floor behind the toe plate. I 'think' you mash it and shove it under the dishwasher itself (and around the feet); at least that's how I installed it! There are a few parts to deal with; make sure you read the manual first.
We have put dishes in not clean and caked on (i.e. left in sink for a bit), and the dishwasher did a great job in cleaning the dishes. What a welcome relief! The 3rd rack is very handy to deal with smaller things like large spoons, electric knife blades, measuring cups, etc. The 2nd and 3rd rack use is dependent on the size of your stuff of course (that varies widely).
We have never had to use rinse aid before, but this one requires it. Looks like you only have to fill it roughly monthly which is good. Supposedly this helps with the drying action. It does seem to be wetter when it finishes right now, but I have read that it will take many washes and it will get 'dryer' as the rinse aid works on the washer itself too.
Question: There was only one part 'left over' from the install. There was a round grey (thin) part, picture attached. I couldn't find out where to use that or where to put it! It wasn't doc'd in the manual or any other piece of paper that I could find.
Improvement Suggestion: it seems if you turn on the dishwasher (there is an On/Off button) it never turns off. Given it has time, it would be best if the dishwasher turns off after some point in time (or goes to 'sleep') - maybe 12 hours? My family is not trained to turn On/Off (yet) so this thing runs constantly; just worried about the display burning out over time.
Love the dishwasher so far!

The quiet clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago. The claim of the quietist cleaning diswasher is correct. The unit is well constructed and I like the interior lighting. The only issue I have is that if you open the door to add a dish or cup you must press start long enough to hear a faint beep, before you close the door again. The led message says something vague like programme incomplete. Then you must wait about 15 seconds before the washer starts up again. I would rather have the washer re start just by closing the door. In addition I would like to see the option to have the washer open its door slightly like other competitive european brands to aid in the air drying and cooling of the dishes during the final dry cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my dishwasher, however I am not happy with the utensil basket design. I want a basket that lets you put the utensils in with the handles up. Also, the basket wobbles around because it does not cover the entire width.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for 2 months. The run time can be a little long if you want the dishes to be very dry. However, it's very very quiet, and the dishes are spotless. My glassware has never been so clear. No complaints at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Bosch dishwasher. It cleans without having to rinse dishes. I’ve been using dishwashers for over 50 years and this is the first one that does a better job than I do. Never thought I could afford a really good dishwasher until now and it was well worth the price.
