This higher end bosche worth the money

Here’s what I learned going into this. The
Benchmark is made in Germany whereas the other bosches are made in America. I read someone who reviewed the bosches and they stated although they are all pretty good the benchmark from Germany cleaned the dishes the best. The installer when taking out our higher end Kitchenaid said this benchmark was a lot heavier. One of the heaviest and more solid he has ever installed. Leaving me with the comment he believes it was probably one of the best dishwashers he has ever installed. Now one thing is with it being European ithey do not use a heating element to dry the dishes they use hot water rinse st the end of the cycle which allows for evaporation. So sometimes and especially without using rinse aide you might have a little wetness left over. I use a natural rinse aide that works well called lemon shine and it works amazing. I am looking at completely dry dishes right now in fact. Not a speck of food on anything!!! I now know why they have a light that shines on the floor when it’s going. Because you can barely hear it

Not what I expected for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not fill a dishwasher very frequently, so I have only used it less then 10 times so far... so... perhaps it's the fact that it's new to me, but I'm having difficulty figuring out the best way to load this machine so that it can actually fit the amount of dishes that I want to wash at one time. I also have the third rack option, and I'm disappointed with the cleaning power -- greasy or egg covered utensils do not get clean on this rack. I have had a bit of trouble with the dirty utensils and silverware standing rack as well. My other complaint is the failure to dry the dishes well. After doing a bit of reading, I see that the suggestion is to use the sanitize function so that the final rince is extremely hot ... which I did.... but in order to have it dry well, I have to open the dishwasher to release the steam after the cycle is finished. With that change, it does a great job - most everything is completely dry. But for the price, should I really have to take extra steps to have the dishwasher dry the dishes? One thing I will say, this machine is very quiet. Quiet operation was the reason I changed to Bosch, and it performs as promised in that regard.

Half Expect Dishwasher to Pick Up Kids from School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first Bosch dishwasher. I had my previous one for over 14 years and loved how quiet it was for my open kitchen/family room. This new dishwasher is clearly a few generations ahead in sound dampening technology. So quiet that the light indicating that it's on is really an essential.
It's hard to believe is this new dishwasher only takes up the same space as my old dishwasher. The second rack holds smaller pans that used to only be able to go on the bottom rack. The top rack safely holds little items I used to wash by hand. I used to always hand wash quite a large stockpot because I couldn't fit it in the bottom rack. With the adjustable second rack, it fits.
Even more wonderfully, I followed Bosch's instructions to stop rinsing off or prewashing everything. Where has that been all my life? I half expect this dishwasher to start picking my kids up from school.

Dishes sparkle!

Things we love....holds 2-3 days of dishes for us, 3rd rack great for our sharp knives, small plastic containers, and fiesta cereal bowls, SO quiet!, sleek look, fold down rack option also accommodates our fiesta bowls, adjustable middle rack really helps. Ooh, and I LOVE being able to take the filter out to clean out food gunk, so easy, and ensures the gunk doesn't end up back on clean dishes.
Things we don't like: sometimes the plastic items don't dry, our butter knives have a hard time fitting in the silverware basket with the holder things in place (so now I keep one in place and lift the other.....more flexibility).
Overall this machine is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this several months ago as a replacement for our Whirlpool dishwasher. We have country "hard" water with iron, so we chose the stainless steel tub as a necessity and cleaning power is comprised. This is our third dishwasher and the cleaning of the Bosch is fantastic! My husband has a stainless travel mug that is used daily. It was run through the old dishwasher several times weekly, but still had the coffee stain inside. BUT one time through the Bosch and the nasty coffee stain inside is gone, stains that were nearly six months old were gone! I love this machine!

Only wished it had a different colored light that showed when it was done. Does excellent job cleaning. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship of Bosch. Wished I would have gotten one of these years ago.

QUIET AND SLEEK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS UNIT WAS REPLACING A BOSCH THAT THAT WAS NOT STAINLESS STEEL DUE TO A REMODLE JOB. WE SOLD THE 15 YEAR OLD BOSCH THAT WORKED GREAT. THIS UNIT IS SO QUIET THEY HAD TO HAVE A RED LED SHINE ON THE FLOOR TO LET YOU KNOW ITS RUNNING. VERY MODERN WITH THE CONTROLS HIDDEN.
