Hair free with a pinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no clue what to expect. I didnt know if this was going to be something safe to use on my sensitive skin, if it was safe to use while pregnant, if i needed to purchase and other products such as a cream or oil... i was in the dark. The product showed up in a tidy package, completely charged (!!!) And ready to go! They no where stated that the tool was already charged, so someone might plug it in unnecessarily. I'm one of those people who ready the manual about 80% through and refer to it for the rest of my questions. I found the instruction pamphlet a little confusing, or maybe not written as clearly as possible. After a once over, I decided to give it a go on my forearm, as I have a tattoo that looks nice when bare. I absolutely detest body hair, and had been growing it out since I signed up for this campaign... so it was about 1/3" long. I put the epilator on the first setting and decided to give it a try. Ouch!!! I knew it probably wasn't going to feel great, but it was a bit more painful than I expected. I definitely wish I would have had a warning of what kind of pain/sensation to expect. I only made one pass down my arm. I inspected the tool to see if I had taken off any flesh... I hadn't, but the blades were fairly intimidating so I put it down long enough to grab a soda from the fridge and get my nerves back. I made a second pass, which felt about the same, even being prepped for the coming ouch. But, the hair was gone! Completely! With only a single pass, no strays! My skin is very sensitive, and I noticed some redness coming in, so I decided that was enough for the day, not to over aggrivate my skin. Then my husband came home. He was curious. He took a swipe at the back of his manly fur-cladden hand. Same success! And pain! I heard him yelp from the next room and giggled. He was impressed, although had no intentions of swiping off more hair. I have let my legs go for about 5 days now, and will be attempting to clean them up, hoping they aren't as painful. The hair on my arm hasn't regrow at all, which is very enticing for a pregnant woman. I have no desire to keep shaving my legs, as it's getting more and more exhausting to bend over, so I am very hopeful this will be a great resolve for the remainder of my big belly time. One perk I haven't tried is the tool is safe to use in the shower!! How cool! I'm definitely impressed with the tool, and all its attachments. Impressed enough to look past the ouch and keep trying it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a girl who does waxing to remove my hair. But waxing always does take quite some time every time I do it and getting up from my place a couple of time to warm my wax to the right temperature. Also , you have to wash after waxing for the some stickiness left behind. Not to forget the dripping of the wax container once you begin to use it. So, for me the epilator has definitely come handy as I don't have to deal with the mess, reheat etc. It removes short hair too unlike waxing. The hair is gone for a few weeks. Using the epilator on short hair is less painful than on long hair. So, keep using the epilator as you see hair to regrow and it doesn't hurt. Don't wait till you hair to grows long if you don't wan't it to hurt. So, epilator is a device with the advantages of waxing minus the disadvantages of waxing and shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the Braun Silk Epil I was a little nervous to use it. I had tried hair removal tools similar to this in the past and haven't had a positive experience due to pain and complication of use. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Braun Silk Epil seems to be marketed towards women with its easy to hold design and sleek, sparkly white finish. It's waterproof which is fantastic for those of us (me) who enjoy shaving as a relaxing activity to partake with in the shower. I loved the fact that the display actually has a battery meter on the front that blinks red when it's dying. I didn't charge it off the bat and got 2 decent hair removal sessions off of the battery. So the Braun Silk came with several different attachment heads. The ones I chose to use to groom my nether region were the trimmer and the closer shave main buzzer attachment. My hair was a little longer so i was excited to be able to fully utilize this thing. First I trimmed down the hair. The trimmer worked very efficiently and did not pull my hair. I was very happy about that. Then I used the buzzer to get a smoother, closer shave. I really enjoy that I got a nice clean shave without running the risk of cutting myself. You have to be much less careful with the Braun than you do a razor. I also did use this in the shower and had no issues.

Braun Silk-épil 7 review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in pressed with this wonderful product! it's way too easy to use and is virtually painless, I've used it on my legs, underarms and face, it's safe and the only place I had any "pain" was my underarm. I think it was because I don't usually use a epilator there. I've used a epilator for many years but like everything in life things improve over time and the Braun Silk-épil 7 is well worth the price! I don't like it I Love it!

Pain Minimizing Epilator!
on August 29, 2015

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a pretty fantastic, quality epilator!
Key Points:
1. Comfort. Out of all the epilators I have ever tried, this one is definitely the least painful. Since my skin is used to epilation, it just feels like a slight poking sensation all over. While epilation is just, by its nature, uncomfortable, this one does a great job of minimizing pain.
2. Functions. The two speeds on this epilator are convenient and it's nice to have the option, but I didn't really notice too much of a difference in results. However, the various "heads" for specific purposes are amazing.
3. Results. If you move the epilator too quickly, then its easy to miss hairs. After two or three slow runs over the skin, though, it's unlikely that you'll see any leftover hairs. Make sure to epilate at different angles, because hair could face any direction!
As with all epilators I've tried so far, there still is the problem of ingrown hairs. They're mostly solved with a good scrub or peel, though. If there's ever an epilator without this problem, I'll be out to buy it. In the meantime, I'll stick to the Braun Silk-epil 7!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little confused with the different attachments as it wasn't really clear in the instructions. Make sure you figure out what everything is for as I didn't use the razor for my first try!
Once I figured it out I was off and running. This is a great product. I used it on my face, underarms and legs and the hair growth was minimal after one week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how smooth the Braun silk-epil 7 left my legs and stayed smoother longer. So excited to have tried it and will never go back to cheap old razors and shaving cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was used to shaving or waxing my body ..this is my first time with an epilator..I was quite nervous as epilators are quite infamous for the pain they cause..so I read the instructions carefully that came along with the pack and tried the braun 7..it was quite painful at the start but you get used to it in a while..it removes even tiny hairs very easily..my skin is very sensitive so it does leave small red bumps but these disappear after a few hours..so always epilate the day before you go out ..the thing I hated about using razors was the thick gross hair which would start growing the very next day ..but guys with this epilator I don't have to bother about hair growing back for close to three weeks!! I really loved this thing about braun 7 ..and my skin hasn't been softer..easy to charge..can be used under the shower so we don't end up creating a mess..it's got different heads for different areas which is mentioned in the manual..I would definitely recommend buying Braun silk epil 7 ..:) I absolutely loved it!!!
