[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used right out of the box tonight. The motor is strong and I like the way they set up the on and off switch. Easy to hold. Attachments are a plus to use for every body part. You have to have some length in your hair to get a good shave. It help if you exfoliate too! The more you use it, the less often you need to shave. The light is fantastic!

Braun Silk - Epil 7 Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what an epilator was until I received my Braun Silk Epilator in the mail. After reading all of the instructions and checking out a few blogs on the hair removal process I was a little hesitant to try this product. However to my surprise, I really like this epilator!
The product itself is beautiful and easy to use. The different attachments are easy to put on and take off. I love the light that turns on, it helps so much to see the extra fine hairs while you are in the shower.
The shaver attachment works great! I used the Sensitive Skin epilator head for my underarms and bikini area. I will admit that it does hurt, BUT the results are pretty fabulous. After using the epilator, my underarms were so smooth! I was a little sore after using the epilator but it didn't last long. I recommend using the epilator in the shower... soak in the shower to open your pores before you start.
Overall, I think this is a great product. Just know before your buy, that it is a little painful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thought was regarding the pain that 40 tweezers were going to cause. But surprisingly, the pain level was the same as the 20 tweezers of my other epilator. I didn't have to go over the same areas as many times with this, which took my time from around 30 minutes to about 15. I LOVE the on-board light. It was so much easier to catch stray hairs. It comes with 2 speed settings. I thought the faster speed would be better, but found that it broke off hair rather than grabbing it. It claims after one use to be hair free for 4 weeks however, I had some stubble in about 3 days. I'll take that over the shaving method which resulted in 12 hour stubble though. This came with a lot of different attachments, but so far I've found that having no cap on at all does a better job. I did follow up using the provided shaving head (at speed 2) and got super smooth skin. I was able to successfully do my underarms with minimal pain and zero rash. I haven't attempted face or bikini areas, but maybe that will be when I have more success with the other attachments. You can't use it while it's charging, which makes sense if you intend to epilate in the shower. But I'm a dry user, so it would have been nice to have that option. I would definitely recommend the Braun Silk-Epil 7 to anyone regardless if they've used an epilator or not.

Braun Silk Series 7 Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Braun and Bzzagent for allowing me to review this product! I couldn't wait to try out this epilator as I was in desperate need of an upgrade from my old epilator. For those who are not familiar with epilators, the Braun series 7 epilator is one of Braun's more expensive products that has added features to make sure that the device is relatively easy and painless to use. The massaging cap and built in light make it so much easier to spot tiny hairs and epilate without too much pain. This product has two speed settings and several attachment heads that can be used depending on the area that needs to be epilated. I would recommend using the lowest setting on areas like the legs or arms, where there is generally thicker hair and more hair growth. In this way, the epilator can grab the hair from the root without breakage. So far, I have only used the sensitive area cap and the razor cap. The razor is wonderful; you could just use this product for the razor attachment to be honest. I have never had a smoother shave! The sensitive area cap is not as effective at grabbing hairs compared to the regular epilator without a cap. I actually preferred not using a cap for my legs and bikini area. The charge lasts a fairly long time with this epilator. After plugging it into the outlet, it had full charge within an hour. After doing both my legs and armpits (approx. 40 minutes) , it was still working which was great! Overall, I am really impressed with this product! It is easy enough to use for beginners, but also advanced enough with multiple features that long time users can also enjoy it.
Tips and Tricks for People New to Epilating: - Epilating for the first time will definitely be painful, but I promise the pain will lessen after a few uses! Try numbing cream or taking a painkiller 30 minutes before epilating if you have a very low pain threshold. -Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! Exfoliate with a good scrub before and after epilating to prevent in grown hairs. This is so important. Unless you want to manually pluck every in grown hair out, you need to exfoliate. -Use aloe vera gel or another type of soothing ointment after epilating. It can really calm down the redness and irritation that happens after epilation. -Applying baby powder onto the areas that you are about to epilate can help dry up any excess water or residue that is left on the skin. It's easier for the device to grab dry hairs vs wet hairs. -Make sure that your hair is the correct length before epilating. I think the optimal length is 2mm-5mm. When the hairs are too long, their is a lot of breakage and left over stubble, which defeats the purpose of using an epilator haha.
I tried it to remove facial hair and as expected, the part where I used the epilator turned red for a little bit but was not irritated; and the pain was next to nothing. Then, the next night, I tried it on my legs. I had to go slow because my hair wasn't long enough, but after I used the epilator. My skin was soft, it hurt a little but ( as expected) it was the best epilating experience I've had so far. I also used it on my armpit and it got all the hair and it didn't leave me with a burning broken skin. One thing you have to remember though, your hair should be at least half a centimeter long to achieve best results. (except for facial hair) Make sure that you follow the instructions on the manual on how to use the epilator on certain parts of the body and the right attachment for it. The instructions are very easy to understand, straight to the point and very user friendly! It would definitely be an epilator for someone who will use an epilator for the first time!
The only reason why I gave this a four star is that there are so many parts that I have to look at the manual every time because there's a protective case that needs to be used for certain parts of the body. Relying mainly on the drawings on the manual, is not difficult but not that easy either to figure out which one is actually depicted since some parts almost looks the same. But I guess , it just needs some getting used to!
Overall, this is an epilator that I would definitely purchase for myself. It will give you the best epilating experience. Oh! And it comes with a bag that will fit everything so you can never lose any of the attachments.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to try an epilator, but was always afraid to. Now that this little miracle tool has come into my life, I may never shave my legs again! Started with my underarms, just to get one of the most sensitive parts over with first (brave, I know!). That was scary at first, but I quickly realized that the anticipation was worst than the actual pain. Although it missed a few strays here and there, they were very easy to spot thanks to the bright beam of light. I went over them and they were quickly eliminated. Then, I decided to do my lower and upper legs. Lower legs were a snap and did not hurt at all. Upper legs were fine too, just a tiny discomforting on the inner upper thighs. Now, the bikini area... That was a whole other ball game. Front was easy, but definitely not painless, as I have very course hair there. After much flinching and toe curling, I was able to get thru most of it. On the sides, it pinched my skin once and left tiny red marks and that was really painful, but also my fault, as I did not stretch the skin enough. I decided to leave well enough alone and not get too close... I'll leave the more delicate areas to my trusty old razor, for now. All in all, I will continue to use this epilator mainly because it's quick, easy and for the most part tolerable. I can't wait to see how long the results last. I'm a true believer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used an Epillator before so I was very excited to give this one a try. It's very compact and can be used either wet or dry. I have been keeping mine in the shower which is super handy! This comes with different attachments to use depending on where you want to remove hair. The instructions are easy to follow. You do have to get used to the sensation, but truth be told, waxing and threading hurt way worse!! This was quick and I just ran it over my legs as if I would a shaver. I was amazed at how easily it removed any hair and left my legs hair free and it's been a week and I have yet to use it again because it eliminates hair below the hair line!!! This is fantastic! Saves you time and money! No more Knicks or cuts from shavers or burns from wax. I'm very happy with the Braun Epillator!
