[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Braun silk-epil 7 is by far the best electric razor/epilator I have ever used. It's completely waterproof! I have had others that claimed to be, a few times in water and it was toast. I have used it for a few weeks now and I love it more and more. I have saved not just on razors but shaving cream and most importantly water. I have extremely sensitive skin and some razors can irritate it, not this one. I think my favorite feature is the light all razors should have one, this has cut the time down dramatically. It's easy to clean and change between attachments. It's easy to turn on and off too, slight arthritis in hands. The epilator is a bit scary at first.... I fell in love. The hair grew back lighter, softer and, less noticeable. I recommend to everyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gadget works great ! I was a little weary at first, but that soon went away. I used it on my legs, bikini area, and face. I expected it to hurt a lot more than it did. At first it kind of made me jump when I felt it pull the hair, but it didn't really hurt, it just tickles/itches for a second. It could take a while to do your whole leg, but I thought it was really helpful when I missed some hairs, and around my knees and ankles, where I usually end up cutting myself with a razor. On my face, it was nice to not have to go to a salon or try to use wax at home (no sticky mess). I could also see using this between bikini waxes where hair is growing out, but you're not ready for another appt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have basically exclusively used epilators for the last 15 years so i defintely have experience with them and this is not my first one! Pros: 1) I love all the attachments it comes with and I have used them all! I mostly keep on the standard one but I switch it around depending on where im using it. 2) cordless-- my previous devices I've always had to use while plugged in... Being able to use it wherever I like has been great. 3) battery life- I have never had an issue with the charge running out and it takes me a long time to epilator (prob 45 min - 1 hour). I usually charge it in thr morning if I think I'm going to use it that night but often forget and I've never had an issue with it dying on me... I've had it for about two months now. 4) hair removal - really grabs the hair from the roots (unlike other devices which more cut the hair). Therefore, hair regrowth takes some time and my skin feels smooth. The pain is standard- hurts more in places you would expect (bikini, upper thigh) and other places I barely feel (lower leg, armpit). The pain is the same as every other device I have ever used. 5) aesthetics- very pretty device and easy to hold 6) trimmer- my first epilator that comes with a trimmer which I use before I do bikini area. 7) wet/ dry - I actually haven't used this wet function but i like that I have the option. Cons : 1) I find that I have to go over the same area sometimes more than once- this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. To me, a perfect unit would enable you to only go over the area once... I find that the emoji epilator is the only one that I've used that I didn't have to keep going over the area (although I felt like that one kind of cut the hairs instead of really getting them from the root). 2) ingrown hairs - standard as with any epilator - but worth it to me. Not any worse With this unit than with others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried several epilators in the past and they were too painful. I decided to try the Braun Silk-epil 7 because it can be used on face and body. It does sting a bit the first few times, but you get used to it. I like that it is rechargeable. My old one went through a set of batteries in about a week. I also like that you can use this wet or dry. Using it in the shower seems to lessen the sting a bit. Overall, I would highly recommend this epilators.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this hair removal system is awesome. I love that there are many options on how to use it. It takes a bit of getting used to with the tweezers and all but once you do it a few times it is easy. The hairs do come back thinner and less coarse. I also liked the option of the razor as well as being able to use this dry or wet. The options are key. Some areas you just want to shave instead of tweezing and this is wonderful that it gives those options. So instead of me having a bunch of different devices I have one!

Huge improvement from my decade old epilator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not new to epilating. I previously was using my nearly 10 year old Braun epilator that was still holding up just fine. I was curious as to how much epilators have improved since then, but couldn't really justify the price of purchasing a new one when my old one was still working. So I was super excited to receive this for free, and I have to say after using it I like it so much better and it would've been worth the investment.
My favorite feature is probably the LED light. It makes catching tiny hairs much easier. However, sometimes when I hold it I inadvertently block the light with my hand. I also love that it's cordless. I don't have to stress if it accidentally gets wet or if I get tangled up in the cord.
With my old epilator, I was only using it on my lower legs and my underarms. It was too irritating on my upper legs so I would just shave there instead. I could also only use it once or twice a week on my underarms, but no more than that because it was prone to irritation and ingrown hairs.
The new Braun Silk-epil 7 came with lots more attachments. This epilator came with an attachment specifically for underarms, and I like it a lot. I can use it for touch-ups every day or two with minimal irritations. Using the efficiency attachments on my legs makes them feel smoother, so I think it grabs more hair. I've even used it on my upper legs without any irritation. I've braved using it on my upper lips with the facial cap. It hurt a lot the first time, but there was almost no irritation afterwards. The only thing I haven't been able to brave is my bikini line. Maybe someday! I just stick to using the shaver head there. However, a word of warning, when I left the head unlocked so it could move/tilt I suffered some pretty painful razor burn. So now I stick with it in the locked position and haven't had any problems since.
