Braun Series 3 310s Rechargeable Wet&Dry Electric Shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this shaver works very well. The shaver produces a close shave, for this type of product, with little to no irritation. I would caution users to use this shaver frequently because if the facial hair is too long, the shaver will pull on the hair, which is quite uncomfortable. With a little bit of maneuvering, the shaver can produce clean lines for those us wishing to keep beards or partial facial hair intact. Battery life seems to be more than sufficient to complete a full shave. The top foil clicks off for convenient rinsing and easy cleaning. Five minute quick charge makes it possible to clean up facial hair quickly in a pinch if the shaver's battery runs out. I am very pleased with this product and look for to using it frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver works very well for it's intended purpose which is shaving short beards to a smooth baby face. If your beard is 1/4 inch or more you'll have to trim it before using the Braun. Not real good for shaping either it can be done just takes a little practice and patience. The battery holds a charge really well I went a week and a half on one charge which is great. It shaves as good as a regular razor but without the irritation and is water proof so can be used in the shower which makes clean up a breeze. Overall a good shaver but I would suggest having a trimmer to go along with it for those times when your beard as grown out a little extra.

Great razor but pales to older brother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I I have been a long time user of Braun razors and I don't ever see myself using a different brand of razor. I have had the 3 series and have loved it immensely. This razor carries that same great razor head and feels to be just as powerful as it's older brother. The cut is super clean with just one or two passes and the irritation is minimal as long as you're fully charged. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a sideburn trimmer! That's a huge hit to it, and for me is a deal breaker. I am super dependent on the sideburn trimmer for cleaning up body hair and so this razor will not be replacing my older 3 series. That's my only complaint, but to me it's a major one. Good razor tho besides that.

Great for my sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a few of the different series of Braun Foil shavers. I currently use the Braun Series 7 and have loved it. The Series 3 310s is surprisingly good, even when compared to the model that is nearly 4x as much in price.
As far as maintenance goes, the foil head is easily replaceable and the shaver is easy to clean.
It is a wet/dry shaver which is always nice when you have sensitive skin. After using this for a week or so I found that it does nearly as good a job as my Series 7 shaver (which I would classify as basically perfect) as far as sensitivity, closeness, and post-shave comfort are concerned. Again, I was surprised at how well it performed when the price is so drastically different.
The only downside to the shaver is that unlike my Series 7, there is no easy way to disinfect the head and no sensitivity settings that can be adjusted. Other than these two things, I have no reservations recommending the Braun Series 3 310s shaver. It was amazing.

Very good middle grade shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver did a great job on my face. for those days when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to do a wet shave (with my Mercer DE razor) then this gets the job done very well in less time. I have had this shaver for about 3 weeks and I have yet to recharge it. just seeing how long the battery lasts on me. the color is awesome! the light blue is very attractive. shaving wet with this feels a little better on the face. the charger is very slender and doesn't take up space of other outlets like some other chargers I've used in the past. very easy to clean, and very easy to use. If you don't want to spend a ton of money but like to shave quick and easy, then look no further!

Great Shaver

Stop buying razors

My wife gates when I leave hair from shaving in the sink so now I just shave in the shower. Again it is such a clean shave you can't tell I used an electric shaver instead of a razor.

Cons:

So, let's get to the nitty gritty.
Upon opening the package I was amazed at how incredible it felt. The grip. The solid body of the shaver. It was designed to with-last time.
The waterproof ability is great. I never used it in the shower or anything, but cleaning it was very easy.
My current shaver does not cut as close to the skin as this one does. So I was fairly shocked at it at first but I like it.
The plug sticks out like a store thumb. Literally. You plug it in the wall and its like "does it really stick out that far?" -- surely this could be designed better.
Now for the final blow...It doesn't cut well. At all.
I tend to wait a few days to a week between shaves and so my hair begins to grow longer. And this does a TERRIBLE job at cutting longer hair. Like terrible. After attempting to shave my face with it I got tired and used my other shaver again. I figured it was simply because of the loner hair. Maybe it wasn't designed for that, so I cannot blame the shaver. So 2 days later when I got a little stubble I tried to use the shaver again. I shaved the same spot over 17 times (up and down motion counted as one). I even went a bit at an angle to see if maybe that was the problem. Nope. Nothing worked. In the end I went back to my old shaver.
