Series 3 shaver

This is the second of this series I've owned. The first lasted about 8 yrs before the battery gave up. This one I've had about 6 mths and it's been improved. The battery lasts about twice as long on a single charge and the shaver is about a third quieter. Initially I got about 8 mths from a blade before it had to be replaced. But as my beard has become more grey I can only get about 3 mths before replacing it. Overall, the price for the shaver and blades are reasonable, and it's so easy to clean with hot water. Another bonus - Braun kept the plug in for the power cord the same so now I have a cord for home and one for travel. Praying I can buy another one of these in about 8 yrs, or more.

Trims me up nice!

You can't go wrong with this bad boy and the battery life is superior than most and rechargeable is always a win in my book! Excellent option if you're looking for a comfortable shave!

Smooth face

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Considering that this is the least expensive Braun shaver, I bought this as a travel shaver to take the place of the much more expensive Series 7 home shaver. I quickly found out that this inexpensive version worked better than the Series 7 shaver, because this shaver doesn't have the floating head, that was more functional. Also this version collects the hair shavings better, rather than the Series 7 shaver scattering the shavings all over.

Irritation

The build quality feels a bit cheap compared to other shavers I've tried, which is a bit disappointing. Also, the foils can be quite costly to replace, so be prepared for ongoing maintenance expenses. It has a quick recharge feature which is nice.
