I purchased before my trip to Croatia. the storage pockets on the side helped me keep everything organized. I had separate pockets for my reading glasses, passport, receipts, Kuna, and Euros. Strong quality zippers. This will last a long time. Worked great for my carry on.

This backpack has so much room, almost too much room. Lots of pockets and zippers to stash things away. I am smaller in frame and its pretty robust and is about half the size of me. However, when I travel this backpack will come in handy.

I haul a lot of stuff around for work, so my backpack is consistently about 20 lbs or more. This backpack has held up great so far, and feels much sturdier than my old backpack. The only complaint I would have is, after only 2 days, one of the hemmed loops on the end of the shoulder strap came apart. I have a tendency to put my thumbs in them when walking, and it just popped the seam with very little pressure. I stapled it back together for now so the strap doesn't slip all the way out, but that seam was poorly sewn. Other than that, the backpack itself is incredibly durable. Very happy with the purchase.

So I have owned a Northface surge for 12 years. I loved the old design but do not like the new one that I bought. I also bought a Nomatic backpack as that is an “in backpack”. What I found out is both of those don’t stand a chance against this Ogio. This Renegade truly is a great back pack and would put it up against those two other packs that I have now sold because this Ogio won out. Would 100% recommend and buy again and again!
