Renegade RSS Laptop Backpack - 17" Laptop Still won't Fit!

I bought this model a couple of years ago because it was designed for 17" laptops and Ogio had a good reputation for quality. My 17" laptop will not fit in the padded laptop compartment. I can just barely fit it into the other large compartment but it's so tight, the corners wore through quickly. I like the way the case looks and I like all of the compartments so I have continued to use it.
Recently I received an email from Ogio with a promotional price on this model. Assuming that after 2-3 years, Ogio would have realized their mistake and corrected it, I went ahead and purchased it. The new bag is exactly like the one I purchased before. This is for a 17" laptop. I have two 17" laptops and still, neither one fits! Are you kidding me? After 2-3 years this model backpack will not fulfill it's main purpose?
This falls in the category of "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." So I guess this one is on me. I can assure you, there won't be a third one!

The Ogio is a great bag especially if you are traveling. It has so many compartments for many items. I definitely recommend this bag if you are traveling especially on an airplane to use as your carry on. I really like all the pockets it has and all of the stuff it could fit. From hard shelled sunglasses compartment to padded laptop compartment this bag is great and best of all light weight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My 15 in Dell laptop barely fits in laptop compartment. Other than that it is a great backpack.

I have an older Ogio backpack that I wanted to upgrade. The laptop compartment is very sturdy and protects my device. Love all the pockets, too. Plenty of storage and I had it embroidered too. Love it!

You would call me a "Gamer", I rather call myself a Gaming Enthusiast. I love gadgets, and even carry things for "just in case". I already own an Arctic Cat OGIO Gambit for 7 years of use and abuse, and this new one has a lot of upgrades over the previous. The most notable is the built-in laptop protection sleeve. Not only adds great protection to a laptop/tablet (currently an Asus Z13), but make the whole bag sturdier. The side pockets are bigger and the bottom ones no longer are a mesh (a plus for me). I also carry around my PC, an NFC S4M; or my OneXPlayer in its case which both fit perfectly in this bags main compartment. Also including a Mad Catz StrikeM keyboard, 2-3 mice, 1-2 gamepads, a gaming keypad, 2 earphones and a headphone, USB 3 dock and USB 2 HUB, cables, power adapters, many USB adapters and mouse pad. Sometimes I also bring my Nintendo Switch, which fits neatly in the "Logo" compartment. As you can imagine, I really load this bags with tech. I live in PTY 507 Panama City

Bad organization

Lots of room but could be so much better. I hate the lack of organization. The main pocket could easily have a slip pocket on the back for a notebook. It would be great to have a little velcro strap on the back side of the tech vault to hold headphones above in the main compartment. In the tablet pocket there could be additional organizational pockets for the mouse and dongle. Just put elastic bands it there. Also the handle gets in the way when opening the tech vault. Of the handle was moved back about half inch it would fix the issue. Debating on sending this back and looking for something else.

Bag is very nice. The straps don’t extend long enough for bigger guys. Even fully extended the bag rides up very high on my back. It’s difficult to get on and off with a jacket. I returned it and went back to my Thule bag.

My first one lasted about four years and was still in perfect condition, but I wanted a different color so I bought a new one about three years ago and I’ve had the stitch problem shown below. I own a company that makes sewed products and stuff happens occasionally. This is the best backpack on the market. As a pro I’ve seen them all. I’m going to order my third one today. This is the best.
