only if it's really cheap

I have a Flex 2-14 since the start of 2015 and honestly, i regret buying it!
The sound card is cheap, it doesn't work properly, the sound keep stopping every 2 days and I need to reboot to get it back. I tried uninstalling the card and installing it back again, no improvement.
Also, the battery doesn't last and I already have a message saying that I need to replace my battery after only 2 years...
Finally, the trackpad doesn't have 2 buttons, which gets really annoying. you always end up zooming instead of moving the cursor and clicking... and the area for the buttons is also in the area for the cursor, so it gets problematic. instead of separating the areas and adding a button for the right-click.
honestly, don 't buy this laptop unless it's very cheap and you'll use it as a secondary computer. it's doesn't worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for student use!

Bought a Flex 5 (14") to replace my old ThinkPad. I use it primarily for school. This computer is very light, and if you add the active pen, it feels like a tablet. However, it should have more USB ports
Just about a month of using this computer for school. At 90% battery life, it has about 3 hours of use- on battery saving mode- disappointing. Lags unbelievably. The Lenovo writing app is terrible, but works ok using Note or some other app. I wouldn’t repurchase, I’m quite disappointed. The 360 degree rotation is cool, smooth mechanically but slow to switch to tablet mode. I don’t know if this is how the laptop is, or if using the warranty to “fix” a brand new product would fix the problems I’ve experienced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
