Good all-purpose Laptop

I got the I5, 256GB SSD model
solid build quality, does anything i would expect a laptop to do.
one thing to note: the speakers are on the bottom near the front corners. this makes the sound amazing when on a hard surface like a desk but if you have it on your lap the sound has nothing to bounce back up off so it sounds a bit hollow.
PCIe SSD boot speeds are really fast (~5s). hinge is solid, it will stay in place all 360 degrees, which is a bit annoying when opening since there isn't much to hold onto but that only took a day to get used to, definitely not a deal breaker.
extra tip to squeeze performance out of any laptop. similar to overclocking a desktop PC you can undervolt a laptop CPU which will make it run cooler, quieter, and extend battery life. i used Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and decreased CPU core and cache by 0.1v, GPU down by 0.5v. this made the CPU 5C cooler in stress tests.
obligatory "may void your warranty and damage your CPU" but undervolting is safer than overvolting and its really hard to mess it up. watch some youtube videos on it first.

Too noisy and very slow browsing capability

I can hear sounds coming from the machine every time I start turning on my Lenovo Flex 5 15.
This distracted me a lot as the sound becomes too noisy and turns on and off. Most of the time, the noises stay permanently. I thought it may be the fan that is causing this or I really don’t know. I bought this Lenovo laptop last March 16, 2018 and I’m hoping that this problem will be resolved. Please help . . .
Secondly, browsing the web is really too slow as I’m always getting a message that says ‘Waiting for a response”. But this waiting period usually take an average of more than 5 minutes. Sometimes waiting for response from this computer is like forever for me, and I’m waiting too long and getting unproductive at all because of this.
Thirdly, the screen turns dark blue all the time no matter how many times I adjusted the color or lighting display settings. Is there a way to save the previous setting I made so that I need not to adjust the display setting every time I turn on or boot this unit?
I have never experienced issues like these with my other laptop which is still working more efficiently than this new Lenovo unit. I bought this Lenovo computer because I thought it is faster and will work more efficiently with 16 RAM, 2.9 ghz and 1 TB data storage capacity. However, it apparently not meeting my expectations.
I will really appreciate your immediate attention and reply on these issues.

Was wary in the beginning but its the best laptop I've ever had. Touch screen, touch ID, flexible, light, fast running. Can't complain.

Right out of the box, I have had issues with the hardware, especially audio and video, as well as the preinstalled Windows 10 software. Other than that, does what I need it to do, picks up my 5 GHz SSID, etc.

Defective laptop

I bought this laptop and I was really disappointed: The display randomly showed black lines (vertical and horizontal), was blinking, and so on. I’m pretty sure it was the video card (or maybe the cables in the display hinges). I exchanged this laptotp for the Yoga 720 and until now, I am satisfied.

well its an amazing machine to use. its fast, uptill now the machine's performance has been good too.
only drawback i would say is the battery. i would want my machine to work all day but its upto 4 hrs. rest its good deal.
