Not one hiccup. Works great, saving me a ton of time. My second brother. Will not switch. Service and performance from anywhere else would not be worth it. Love my machine.

Although everything else seems to be fine but somehow scanning appear to be some issues. No matter how few (1-5 pages) scanning through feeder, "problem" indication appears and then scanning failed. Scanning failure is a repetive problematic with this machine. It's not sure whether the software or the system is the issue here but it is a headache. If in fact, it is a software issue, perhaps, it maybe fixed through the update systematically. If it cannot be updated and fixed systematically, please advised otherwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good value, but missing a key feature.

Although the printer has multiple paper trays, you cannot set it up to automatically print on a letterhead paper from one tray, and the rest of a letter on plain paper from another tray. Therefore there is no way to batch print a series of letters. You need to manually remove the paper tray and insert the letterhead paper for each letter, one at a time.

My brother MFC is fantastic! It is quite, fast, seems to use as little ink as possible, the ink does not smear, and the scanner is very fast!! I just love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best printer I have owned!

What I like most is the two trays. When I print recipe cards, I use the back tray. Other single tray printers require taking out the tray, resizing and putting it back in. Then you have to take it out again and resize for normal paper. This one, I leave the 4x6" cards in the back tray and it auto chooses the tray. It prints so fast! And the quality is great! Love it! It found my wifi without the hazzle. Love it!

Great, a couple little flaws i can live w/

flaws: top document feeder very fussy about how you insert the pages-- have to get documents in perfectly or they curl and jam; however machine designed to get paper jams out easily. Spot where copies exit allows only about 8 pages to come out before they fall on the floor-- need to man; however, copies are super crisp and do not smear-- beautiful. The latter could me my problem as well as faxing steps. Have not tried to scan yet. Even with these little flaws, I love it--the print feature-- works every time, no baulking, same with copying.
