Really Nice Printer

I purchased this printer to replace one that lasted over 6 years. So far I am very pleased with its performance. It prints quickly and the software is relatively easy to use. The ink use seems very efficient so far, especially using the ink save mode.
The price was reasonable for the value. The only reason I took off one star is that occasionally the status monitor on my PC will indicate that the printer is offline, even though when I check the printer itself the WiFi indicator shows that it is connected and the signal is strong. When this happens and I try to print something, I will get an error message. Eventually, the job will print, but it may take up to a minute or more before it does.

Excellent InkJet that is Fast!

This Brother Printer was chosen over plenty of Laser printers just because I need the ability to print in color......I love the speed and size of it also the scanner mode works perfectly. If I had one suggestion it would be the same printer without Fax, who faxes nowadays?

Great User Friendly MFC Machine

The machine is easy to install. All features work very well. The machine instructions are easy to follow. Toner replacement is easy. The machine is relatively quiet. It's perfect for a small business.

It’s ok

We bought this printer for business use and it was good initially but from the start the air print was a hassle and very frustrating no device or app can find the air printer. Every time we want to print we have to spend about 30 mins restarting sending to printer detecting and retrying. While everything else is good in this printer the air print feature which is a big deal for us was very frustrating. Will be returning and getting a different printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This J5830 works rather well for us. Quick off and on when you just need a copy. And, most of all the color covers we produce for our books print rather well. We use heavy card stock and use the hand-feed slot at the back. Works magic.

Great All-in-one printer for our home office needs

The performance and reliability of this printer are exceptional. It connects seamlessly with our devices. Print quality is very good considering it is not a "Photosmart" printer.
