One of the few options with a downdraft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a replacement for our existing jennair range with a downdraft. This range was one of the few options available with a downdraft. It required additional ductwork and it seems less durable than the older version.
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Bulky
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bring back white

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was forced to buy this range because my previous 16 year old JennAir dual fuel down draft developed a problem in its thermostat and replacement parts were unavailable. I loved that range and built our kitchen around it. Who knew that using the self clean feature could cook the controls.
The current model is stainless steel, which is much harder to keep clean, and has electronic touch screen controls which are extremely sensitive and easy to set off by mistake.
I do like having a variety of sizes for the burners but wonder why both of the smaller ones are in back. When all four are used simultaneously the large pots are closest and you have to reach around them to get to the pots on the back burners.
One other design question: why have the controls stick out horizontally instead of angled slightly?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our 30yr JennAir with this new one. Love the enclosed burner trays and ease of cleaning the top. The Aqua Lift oven cleaning is a feature I thought would be a welcome change. I AM NOT IMPRESSED. I have to crawl inside my oven to scrub off the grease that would have been baked off like my OLD UNIT. After 30 yrs, I wasn't expecting to have to start manually cleaning an oven again - and I've cleaned it 5 times in 6 months.....
To pay the price for a high quality range and then have to resort to cleaning again questions my decision to buy JennAir again.
Also do not like the 15 min to preheat the oven. Never had to wait this long on the old unit.
This is efficient???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in Nov. 2021, arrived and installed on March 2022. I am short an when I am cooking I lean over and make contact with the touch options and get all kinds of beeps and have to reset my cooking options. Trying to learn to cook from the side. Also a question, after turning off all cooking options I hear like a motor running for an hour and half, is this normal? The downdraft is not running.
