[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this stove for about a month and I’m enjoying cooking on gas again. The electric oven holds a consistent temp and I can bake again without guessing. It would have been nice to have had a choice in the finish. I like stainless steel but it is more difficult to keep clean and shiny. Need more down draft options.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Use
Cons: Difficult To Clean

terrible design of stove top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] IT is obvious that whoever designed the stove top does not cook. 1. Two large burners are in the front. They are obviously used for large pots or pans. With them in that position, you cannot also utilize the back burners which are much smaller.
2. The smaller of the 2 small burners in back (on the left) is meant for "melting butter and chocolate". This is a total waste of a burner since it is not often that people melt butter or chocolate. Melting butter and chocolate is what a "double boiler" is made for and can be put on a regular burner. This burner has a very low BTU so is a total waste since it is not often that anyone needs such a low BTU.
3. The front of the stove top with the control dials to use for the burners protrudes straight out several inches. Therefore, when using the dials, your hands are very close to hot burners and pots. In contrast, an angled down design in front for the control knobs would allow the use of the dials without having your hands close to flames. In addition, the stainless steel stove top is very hard to wipe off (it is not slick but "rough")and the grates are very rough and difficult to clean off.
4. The oven does not heat correctly. I've had 2 service calls and it still doesn't work correctly so I have to "guess" how to set the oven temperature and watch it carefully. Baking cakes, cookies, etc. is prohibitive when the temperature is not correct.
4. I would like to talk to the engineers who designed this unit. I am stuck with it, but perhaps I can help others from purchasing this extremely poorly designed stove.
Cons: Difficult To Clean, Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We owned a Jenn aire years ago. Our kitchen requires a downdraft of pop up fan. This was the best choice for replacing a Thermidorian.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Compact
Cons: Difficult To Clean

Initially hesitant, now cautiously optimistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We updated our appliances and we’re pleasantly surprised with this set up. Down draft is not ideal but given our setup our options were limited. This range and oven have exceeded expectations. The oven is considerably larger than the last and the range is far easier to clean than the glass top of our previous Jenn Air. The only issues I have now is the layout of the clock. It faces straight up which makes it impossible to see unless you’re standing directly over it. Not ideal if you’re doing something on the other side of the kitchen. Also, the touch screen is sensitive so when cleaning you end up pressing all the buttons. Wondering how long until the panel malfunctions…
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
