[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an old electric down draft Jenn Air with a new dual energy down draft slide-in range. Down draft ventilation much improved. Love the gas burners and convection oven. Love the design with controls on the top (verses having to bend over to view settings). Like the Pro-Air handle. Gives a professional look. Oven is bigger and love the rack that glides in and out. Use the convection roast frequently. Perfect! Able to easily grill using gas burners and my cast iron griddle--just like grilling outside! Have not yet needed to clean the oven but cleaning process is suppose to be much easier than old range. Had to order the trim kit separately after installation. Would suggest that the kit is included with the purchase of the range.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took a long time to decide that this was the right range for us and I'm so happy with my decision. It's an attractive addition to our kitchen and appreciate the quality of this appliance. All dishes have cooked well on the stove and in the oven. I especially like the one oven shelf that easily slides out and the large capacity of the oven itself. What a great product!
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several problems with the install. When using down draft while cooking heats the handle of the pan towards the down draft.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WHEN i BOUGHT MY HOME 21 YEARS AGO IT CAME WITH A JEN-AIR STOVE ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE WE JUST PURCHASED. SINCE I ONLY CAN USE A DOWNDRAFT EXHAUST STOVE AND THIS IS BASICALLY THE ONLY COMPANY THAT HAS ONE I THERE WAS NOT A CHOICE WHAT I WAS GOING TO REPLACE MY OLD STOVE. AFTER FINALLY FINDING A PLACE TO PURCHASE THE STOVE AND FIND A PERSON WHO COULD INSTALL THE STOVE IT IS FINALLY INSTALLED AND WORKING. I HAVE TO SAY THE THE CONTROL PANEL IS A NIGHTMARE. WITH HOW IT IS POSITIONED. WHEN YOU TURN ON THE BURNERS YOU SMELL GAS BECAUSE THE IGNITORS ARE SET UP TO HORRIBLY WRONG. TIME WILL TELL IF WE WILL LEARN TO DEAL WITH THIS STOVES INDIVIDUAL ISSUES--BUT IF I KNEW ALL THE INSTALL ISSUES AND HOW COMPLICATED IT WORKS. I MAY HAVE TOTALLY CHANGED MY KITCHEN TO USE A TRADITIONAL STOVE. OH--IT DOES LOOK TERIFFICE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an older version and really like the new features, easy cleaning, various burner sizes which are great. Oven racks outstanding. Love the pull out one so convenient.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would love a gas range but our old house had one and when we moved we had to get another one. I wouldn't have any other stove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 29 year old jenn air gas downdraft which I loved!!! This one... The design is just bad...the range top controls are flat to the top of the range. So can only see time, etc by standing over it... The back burner on the left bairly keeps water boiling, the touch control pad is do "touchy" it has to be turned off so as to be cleaned. The timer only works when the touch pad is on. The time bake/delay can't be set by time of day ...just not as great as the older model. but the oven is a nice size and bakes evenly. If I were to re do my kitchen...would not buy!!
