Bad design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My third JennAir. Took forever for delivery and I’m disappointed. Controls and clock on top of stove as compared to front on my other two stoves. Very hard to keep controls clean on top of stove. Very touchy if you are trying to wipe the area w a cloth you end up turning “on” everything.,I want to be able to see clock and timer from across the kitchen and not have to stand over the stove to see them. Takes forever to preheat.
Cons: Difficult To Clean
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the range but hate the control panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range itself is great, love the rolling rack. The controls are on the top of the range and impossible to keep clean. Always get splatters from cooking and I hate that! I’m constantly trying to keep it clean and it is not easy to clean. Otherwise great range.

Beautiful stove

This is a replacement stove. Had to buy sight unseen due to supply chain issues but being I had no choice but to buy another JennAir due to my kitchen layout am very please with the stove. Love the burner top is now sealed, no more food dropping down under the burners. Grates are very heavy and level all the way across , making moving pots effortlessly. Not crazy about the different size burners but thats a learning curve for me. Waited until I had to clean the oven before writing this. Was sure it wouldn't clean very well, I was wrong. Charred cheese came right off after dripping 4 or 5 different times and no stinky house. The large oven window is beautiful and like how oven light works. What I am not crazy about is the clock and timer. Again a learning curve but miss being seeing time from across the room. Confused why it "needs" a sabbath setting, would rather have another timer. The stove is deeper than the older one and they had to do some extra fitting for the down draft to fit. All in all its a beautiful stove and hope it last 24 years like the old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in Nov. 2021, arrived and installed on March 2022. I am short an when I am cooking I lean over and make contact with the touch options and get all kinds of beeps and have to reset my cooking options. Trying to learn to cook from the side. Also a question, after turning off all cooking options I hear like a motor running for an hour and half, is this normal? The downdraft is not running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our 30yr JennAir with this new one. Love the enclosed burner trays and ease of cleaning the top. The Aqua Lift oven cleaning is a feature I thought would be a welcome change. I AM NOT IMPRESSED. I have to crawl inside my oven to scrub off the grease that would have been baked off like my OLD UNIT. After 30 yrs, I wasn't expecting to have to start manually cleaning an oven again - and I've cleaned it 5 times in 6 months.....
To pay the price for a high quality range and then have to resort to cleaning again questions my decision to buy JennAir again.
Also do not like the 15 min to preheat the oven. Never had to wait this long on the old unit.
This is efficient???

Bring back white

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was forced to buy this range because my previous 16 year old JennAir dual fuel down draft developed a problem in its thermostat and replacement parts were unavailable. I loved that range and built our kitchen around it. Who knew that using the self clean feature could cook the controls.
The current model is stainless steel, which is much harder to keep clean, and has electronic touch screen controls which are extremely sensitive and easy to set off by mistake.
I do like having a variety of sizes for the burners but wonder why both of the smaller ones are in back. When all four are used simultaneously the large pots are closest and you have to reach around them to get to the pots on the back burners.
One other design question: why have the controls stick out horizontally instead of angled slightly?
