Love My Jenn-Air

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our range was finally installed around the middle of February and we have been exploring its many features. Love the variety of burners provided and the versatility of oven. This was a replacement for a similar Jenn Air range we owned for almost 30 years. The stove top and oven cleanup is so much easier than our older model. The only negative--we needed to vent to the bottom rather than to the right side as we previously did. Our gas connection placement interfered with the venting mechanism.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction

Love having duel fuel ability

Huge oven, great convection

The oven is much larger than the previous model we owned, the convection features work really well for meats, veggies, and baked goods, and the burners light quickly

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product with one annoying exception. The knobs are mounted horizontally in front of the burners, where they easily get spattered with cooking grease. The surface around the knobs is stainless steel which is difficult to easily clean, needing to remove the knobs to properly clean. In contrast the tray beneath the burners is of some type of treated metal that is extremely easy to clean, quite a plus. Suggest that the knobs be mounted vertically and/or the burner metal be used around the knobs as well.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
Cons: Difficult To Clean

Beautiful but flawed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a beautiful stove but the design of the electronic control panel is flawed. It continually beeps and gives error messages whenever anything touches it or droplets spill on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great range with very poor location of controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Jenn-Aire range. I loved the first one, so I bought a 2nd one. However, this range has the controls on the top of the range next to the burners, whereas the old one had them on the front. This causes the controls to constantly get dirty from cooking splatters. Then trying to constantly wipe down touch sensitive cooking controls is very frustrating as they are constantly activating from being touched while wiping them down creating much more work than should be necessary. Somebody wasn't thinking when they designed the controls location of this range. zit shouldn't take so much work to keep clean.
