Beautiful appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 25 year Jenn Air range with the same newer version. Awesome. Expensive but the fan is strong and features great. Only thing is the clock and timer face up not out. Minor issue

Beautiful and functional

This sits beautifully in our kitchen, and functions like a workhorse. From the little things like the slowly fading light to the advanced cooking features. Love this unit.

fits right into new kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite the long lead time required for this range (6 months) we have been pleased with its design and function. The downdraft fan was a requirement based on location and this was one of the only option. Controls are nice and intuitive. The griddle provided fits over two burners and is a bit small, but fine for the two of us....any larger family probably would require something larger. Overall we are very pleased and it looks and cooks great!

Nicely appointed, inflexible in exhaust location

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has great features and operates well. We are very happy with the functionality. Our main issue is the inflexibility in the exhaust fan location. We purchased this unit as a replacement for a Thermador Coon'n'Vent unit. Somewhere along the line, the standard for exhaust placement changed and we were not able to line up the exhaust duct to the existing location, or move it within the existing floor joists. Regrettably, we cannot exhaust it outside and had to go with an internal exhaust through a filter. The unit is probably better in a full kitchen remodeling designed around the range location, rather than retrofitting to an existing kitchen. They could have been more flexible in design.

Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are little options for downdraft ranges. We chose the Jenna Air because we liked the look and reviews. I love the 4 the constant simmer and the oven temperature is even. I do not have to turn cookies mid bake.

Downdraft very strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old faithful JennAir electric downdraft range needed replacing, but this time I went with their duel fuel range with a gas top, as I had enjoyed surface cooking with gas years ago. The downdraft to this range is so strong that even on the low setting it pulls the flame toward the vent, causing uneven cooking when using the larger burners. I have to turn off the downdraft (which is also very loud even on low) in order to sautee or make an omelette come out right. Also cleaning the touchpad and knob base is tricky, as it collects all the grease and splatters due to its facing up. When I run my cleaning cloth over the glass touchpad, no matter how carefully I do it, various controls get activated, which is startling, and have to be turned off. The stainless steel is difficult to shine up. However, since I was limited to this range and only one other that on the market for a slide-in downdraft duel fuel of the size I needed, I am living with these issues. I believe in the JennAir name for quality in the long run. Everything else works wonderfully, hence the four star rating.
