[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we ordered our Jenn-Aire in Dec and feel it was well worth the long wait. we do however wish the downdraft fan had a lower (or the fan was quieter).

Great Features One Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this range in. I love the top compared to the last range I had just like this. It cooks great and the oven is awesome. I like the sliding racks and the baking has been great!
I do have a problem with the computer panel. The timer is next to the Start for Bake. Every time I try to use it, it interferes with the temperature. The last range had two timers with quick selections. This panel is very simple for the type range this is. Jenn Air!

Control panel location is horrible !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have now had the stove for about a month and have enough experience to review it. First the bad... The location of the controls and control panel on top is absolutely horrible and a poor design/engineering decision. They get dirty/greasy all the time and are hard to clean. These features belong to the front panel. Noe the good.. The burners are great and with different sizes and output there is always one that is correct for the application. Oven and broiler heat up quickly and the keep warm function works great at low temperatures as intended. I would never buy another stove with the control location on this one, but had no choice in finding a mid level stove with downdraft.
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Difficult To Clean
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why change what was great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this stove in February-finally delivered in June-loved my old JennAir Downdraft range but after 20 years the stove was cooking uneven. The new range has the knobs and display on top rather than front facing which I find odd-difficult to see how much time remaining-or if up to temperature unless standing right over it. Also top element knobs in different position than prior stove so will take some time for me to stop turning on the back element when I have the pot on the front. Stove is also significantly deeper than the prior model so sticks out farther than I would like. All in all I like the stove but miss the features of the older model-
Pros: Quality Construction
Cons: Bulky
