Oven doesn’t work!

Hard to know a stove until you’ve cooked on it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the plus side:
- many reviews commented that the knobs get too hot to touch due to their location. I have not found this to be true.
- other reviews complained that it’s hard to get the front left burner down to a simmer— I don’t find this to be the case at all. Simmers fine.
- the broiler works very well
- 3 different oven racks (easy pull, drop rack, regular rack) are very versatile
- burners cook evenly though I think the hottest burner is not as hot as I thought it would be
Not as great:
- oval burner doesn’t sit solidly on stove surface. Wobbles around. It’s ok bc I’ll never use it anyway.
- lower oven - bottom of pull out drawer is barely an inch above the ground. In order to open it, I have to move my GelPro mat out of the way, basically means that oven will never get used.
- other reviews commented on how sensitive the touchpad is and this is absolutely true. You can’t even wipe it clean or lean over the stove without it beeping at you bc you’ve activated the oven or timer.
- the surface beneath the burners as well as the top control knob area are great, but weirdly difficult to clean. No matter what cleaning product I use, it leaves streaks.
- the oven takes 15-20 min to heat, which is standard for newer ovens, but I find the interior cooling fan runs forever. Even cooking at 375 for 20 min results in the fan running forever probably 2 hours. It’s quiet so that helps but I can’t believe how long it runs.
- other reviews commented on the knobs being slightly too small and close together, and because of their location on top rather than on the front of the stove, you have to really be standing at the stove to see the position of the knob; you can’t see it from across the room for example. These comments are all true.
