[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new JennAir 6 weeks ago to replace one of over 20 years old. The old one was still working but the new one better suits the remodeled kitchen. Like the up-dated controls, glass top, new style burners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because the previous range had a downdraft ventilation and was situated on an island on the open side of the kitchen, there was no option to revert to a standard (much cheaper) range. This was a very expensive stove, but the time, trouble, and expense of putting in a regular slide-in stove and a ceiling mount cooktop hood would have been just as much. The new stove appears to be adequate, thought the glass cooktop is difficult to keep really clean. There have been quirks and learnings - as there are with everything new - but it seems to be functioning within appropriate standards. I would have preferred a gas range, but there are no gas lines in this neighborhood.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Difficult To Clean
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
