Downdraft is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a Jenn-air that was 25 years old. The 220 volt outlet standard changed in 1996 so we had to rewrite the outlet for 4 prong. The venting thru the floor didn’t line up, causing the installer headaches.
The stove works as expected. The black surface and stainless front collect spatters and fingerprints. Now that it is in we like it very much.

Large oven, powerful downdraft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this stove to replace a 20+ year old downdraft JennAir. The design of the new stove is beautiful. Really appreciate the large oven. Features are great. A couple of things not so happy with: 1) the "printed" temperature lines and words around the stove knobs will not last a year (I'm convinced). All it will take is a little scratch or if cleaned too diligently and they will rub off. We were told by the appliance company that they would be etched into the stainless steel but surprise - nope! It's just printed on the surface. 2) Our older JennAir had a quick pre-heat setting that is not part of the new model. I miss the oven heating so much more quickly. 3) Needed to recalibrate the stove twice in order to get it to the correct oven temp - so if you have a new model, take the time to get a quality oven thermometer and check that the oven heat is correct.

Good oven, big front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this oven, I wish the knobs and temperature controlling panel wasn't on the top front. It is really hard to reach over it to get to the back burners. And the keys are very sensitive and will go off at the tiniest touch. Like it you are reaching over it and your shirt hits the buttons, they will try to come on. I love the oven rack that has the pull out built in. So nice!
