Beautiful stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a nightmare to install. A stove should not be that hard. Directions were not in right order. A lot of the installation should have been done at the factory. We already had a jenn-air stove before so it should not have been completely different.
Pros: Attractive Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glass top already ruined 1st time cooking boiling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had JennAir stoves for the past 28 years and enjoyed them. Our last stove stopped working and the parts were no longer available to repair it. We had mixed feelings about buying another, but are so glad we did. We purchased our new Jenn-Air from a wonderful independent dealer who sent a very qualified installer to remove the old stove and expertly connect the new one with no issues. It is a tremendous improvement from our previous 16 year old model! It is incredibly beautiful, feels substantial and high quality, and works wonderfully. We love many of the new features and don’t miss our old grill top and griddle cartridge options as much as we thought we would. The burners heat up unbelievably fast and there are lots of options with temperatures and size of burners and even combining burners, which we’ve found quite useful. The oven is extra large, the racks slide like a dream, the light is pleasingly bright and effective and the door opens and closes noticeably smoother than any I’ve ever used, all of which makes it feel like a very high end oven. The only con we’ve found is that the oven does take longer to preheat (no quick preheat option). We also preferred the lip over the stovetop edge where it meets the countertop, which provided a more built-in look and easy clean functionality. We had the separate add-on trim pieces installed to fill in that gap instead, which isn’t ideal but adequate. The glass cooktop took a little time to figure out how to keep it sparkling, but we found Scotch-Brite rejuvenating glass cooktop polish the best product to keep it looking new. After about a month of use, we remain very happy with our new downdraft Jenn-Air range!
