So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the stove for 3 weeks now but so far are very satisfied. The only thing we noticed is that one of the knobs is slightly scratched, but it's not that noticable.
Pros: Attractive Design, Quality Construction

The perfect answer to a problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this range a month ago and it has accomplished everything we hoped it would. The kitchen in our new home did not have a vented kitchen exhaust system. This must have been because of the difficulty of installing an overhead venting system in the location of the range. It may also be because the original builder did not want to upgrade to a downdraft range.
Now, with this range installed our kitchen and house atmosphere has been greatly improved. This is a great investment.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish you carried instillation items to make it easier. Vent from our old Jenn Air did not match up to the new one. A simple in wall piping would have been nice. Have to do outside work next summer unless you come up with something to help. Please

Not a great oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven January 2021 because I had to have a down draft oven and Jenn sire is the only one I could find. The oven feature is not good for baking cakes because the temp is not stable. I baked a cake at 300 degrees for two hours and after 90 min the temp was 200 and my cake batter was raw. I had to turn my temp up to 350 degrees for 30 min to finish baking my cake. I hope the cake was done because it was for someone else. I previously had a Jenn sore and hated that oven also. All I want is normal oven to bake cakes.
Cons: Unstable, Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Design compared to earlier models.

Examples of Poor Design: sharp corners, only one timer, easily marred surface, horizontal clock, extra cheap kick panel, burners reversed from earlier models (requires reaching across extra hot (big) burners), hard to grasp round knobs.

Replaced older Jenn-Air; preferred older model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The current model is considerably deeper than the old one and sticks out. I thought that perhaps the counter top could be cut and the range pushed back, but the installer informed me that the ductwork would need to be completely redone. I also don't like the controls being on top of the range; it's too easy to accidentally start an action.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Jen air downdraft. Lived my first one, but could no longer get parts. So we bought this one! Not happy that it isn’t self clean. Also don’t like clock and controls on top - can’t see without going right up to range! Already after a few weeks the glass top will not come clean- ugh! Way too much money for issues!

Great appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this beast of an appliance! It is beautiful and reliable. It is a bit hard to clean the surface when pots overflow. It is also very easy to accidentally activate the downdraft or timer when wiping the control panel, but other than that, I love this thing!
