Not as many features as my old Jenn-Air

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does it cook and bake nicely? Yes. Do I like the auto fan shut off and large oven? Yes. However, I am disappointed at the lack of features compared to my 20 y/o one I replaced. I miss having two timers. I am surprised this new model doesn't include a meat temperature probe. It was one of my favorite features in my old one and made roasting turkeys and chickens a breeze. I don't like the controls on the top, it makes it super annoying to clean. It always bumps a button and turns something on. I was not happy that it doesn't come in white. I have to have a down draft so this is my only option and now it doesn't match the rest of my kitchen. Most annoying however is the newer blower motor install. First off the new fan is MUCH louder than my old one. Second, the hole for the new blower is at the back of the unit (the old one is in the front). Normally drilling a new hole would only be mildly inconvenient, but my old house has water and electrical I had to avoid. More annoying still is the fact there is ZERO wiggle room to install the new blower unit. The old one you mounted the motor in a bracket and then attached the discharge hose (lots of room under the unit to do this) and then a simple plug into the back of the oven to power it. The new one has no room to work, all the parts almost touch, the blower is in two pieces, the discharge is a tight squeeze, and then instead of a simple plug there are more complicated and tight/ hard to get to pieces to hook up for power. I have small hands and long finger and barely was able to make the connections. There is no way my husband could have fit his hands underneath to hook it up.
Pros: Quality Construction
Cons: Difficult To Clean
