Easy to work with

Some design errors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our range about a month. The burners are great but the top mounted controls are not marked well enough to see what setting you are on. The other issue is that when trying to clean the glass control screen there is not lock feature so it engages various modes when you are cleaning it. The other design flaw is that the oven only goes to 500 degrees. I cook a lot of pizza's at like a 550 degree setting, my old Jenn Air went to 550. The unit is over priced for what you get.

Cons: Difficult To Clean, Hard To Use

Not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only reason I bought a new range is because I could not get a replacement for a cracked cook-top. Wish this one had some features of the other one, especially the quick heat button. I had to have it repaired within a month when I discovered the back right burner would not stay on because of a faulty knob.

Nice upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 35-year old Jennair range an are really pleased with this model. The larger oven and multiple shelves are a definite plus. Installation was a challenge but it did work with the old vent hole location.

Great Quality Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last of the original appliances in our 36-yr-old home was a Jenn-Air drop-in range with downdraft, which still worked but was having some issues. We are very pleased with our new Jenn-Air and especially love the increased oven space.

Great Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the features and the fact that it does a great job in terms of baking and broiling. I also like the feature that allows me to use a small burner at the front of the stove and there is a way to use a larger pot on that burner as well. It’s also very attractive and their customer service is excellent. Wish that there was a way to turn of the controls so that when you clean the top of the stove they wouldn’t accidentally turn on.

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new stove for about 2 months. In many respects it is everything we came to love about the previous model we had for almost 20 years. There are three features however that fall short of the older stove: 1. The preheat function is quite slow compared to previous model, 2. The extractor fan works ok but does not extract as well and 3. The glass top requires much work to keep nice and we are worried about using the recommended cleaner we are used to. Those thing being said, we are glad that for our home this product is perfect. The controls and feature set are perfect too.

My Fourth Jenn-Aire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is not what they once were - not all bad, just very different in some weird ways. I like the knobs where they are located, but the low to high is completely backwards to my last one. I absolutely do not like the largest burners on the front instead of the back. I do love the oven, and the fact that the coils are hidden is a plus to me. It is beautiful - very expensive with expensive installation - but also very beautiful - and looks do count! If we could go back to the mid-80s and my second Jenn-Aire with the grill, deep fryer, and flat pancake/French toast attachment, it would be glorious!
