I was very excited to receive my order so quickly. Everything was great out of the box. Used this blender for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and one morning.......NOTHING. It would not even turn on. Motor was completely shot!! I was so disappointed that it quit working. No warning what so ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our primary use of a blender is the making of fruit smoothies from frozen fruit. This unit has a problem with the flow of material at the blades. Must start with liquid and add solids slowly in order to keep the mixture moving.

I had 2 of the Cuisinart 300 blender/smoothie maker. I liked them, they did the job. But this one has more power, is very easy to use, & once you get used to the opposite way of putting the blades on, it's no big deal. It's not that much bigger than my old one. I keep it in the cabinet, but it has a nice look & doesn't take up much space if you wanted to leave it on the counter. I really like the fact that you place the container into the base & turn the container to lock it in place. And I love the smoothie reusable straws & the double wall travel cup. I only wish I could buy extras of the travel cups.

This is a great blender for my morning smoothie. Very powerful and it does a great job with ice and frozen fruit. I love the convenience of having multiple travel cups to blend and go. I also like the chopping blades for fresh herbs and hard cheeses. I'm very happy with my purchase.

the Easy to clean features were a plus for me and the attachments made it nice to make a smoothie “on the run”. I loved the height as it slid right under my upper cabinets and stored conveniently on my counter tucked in a corner. The motor is powerful and the blades sharp
