[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this. The only thing I don't like is it needs to be a very heavy pot so lighter pots don't work, otherwise love it!

Top-notch cooking technology

This cooktop is faster than other types and more efficient. It boils 2 quarts of water in a couple of minutes and does not heat up the kitchen. It is also hard to misuse (my wife has Alzheimer’s & I worried about the gas unit we had).

Sleek and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago after my old glass top ceramic element range kicked. It is *so* nice to have induction instead. Water boils almost instantly, and stops on a dime. Cooking is so much easier without the carry-over heat.
It's attractive and extremely easy to clean.
Only minor complaint: I'd prefer the knobs on the side rather than in front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this induction cooktop, especially the knobs. I've had other induction cooktops and did not like the alternative controls. These are terrific. Induction is the way to go.

Better than I Imagined

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the cooktop for about 4 months now, and love it. It heats faster than traditional gas or electric, and when the temp is turned down the results are almost instant. If something does boil over, there is no scalding mess, because the glass isn't heated by elements, and the glass makes clean up much easier than a gas range. When I show someone the cooktop, I always put a pan of water on the top and watch their amazement when the water starts to boil in less than a minute. Then I remove the pan and set my hand on the top where I heated the pan, its crazy you can do this. I feel much safer with the grandkids around when we are cooking.

Awesome cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best cooktop. Sad to see this particular model may not be sold for much longer. One of the biggest selling points were the knobs to regulate the cooking power. Touch cooktops do not like wet fingers which most cooks have when cooking. The cooktop itself is awesome. It cooks faster than gas and it is easy to keep clean. This model is by far the best cooktop we had purchased. It is our second induction cooktop and due to the aforementioned touch controls, decided on this cooktop with knobs to regulate the temperature, as our previous one did not respond to wet hands/fingers. Awesome job, Frigidaire. Please continue making models with knob control.

Incredible but with some incredible issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t get me wrong, I am loving the responsiveness with induction cooking- it is a game changer. After waiting 6 months for it to arrive, we finally got to give it a try for ourselves in October. There is a slight learning curve here but we loved it! One mistake we made early on was trying to use a pot that is too small for a burner- it will sort of work but not quite. In November, half of it stopped working. Apparently, the circuit board under the bridge connection blew a fuse and had to be replaced, that took another month. The one we ordered has a stainless trim on the front and within a day, it had its first scratch. Now it’s sporting about 10! I am very careful with my appliances but this thing scratches just by looking at it. I have all stainless appliances in my kitchen and none of them have any scratches- is the metal they used just really soft? I don’t know…but it’s very annoying and now, after only 2 months, it looks old. The glass cooktop is still scratch free but that stainless strip just looks awful. All that said, I’m am loving induction cooking but I did not expect to have any issues this early on considering the price we paid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blind and this unit is perfect for me. I wanted an induction cooktop with knobs and this was one of the few option available. I use bump dots so I know which buurner and temp I want, cannot do that with a toucuhpad. The bridge works great for my griddle to cook pankcake and baon. Only complaint, I wish the smallest burner was slightly larger. The induction is so much safer than the radiant. I have had this for almoth a month and love it. A little expensive, but well worth the money, I am hoping to get their matching oven when I have the funds to do so.
