Truly a Breathtaking Experience

We love Samsung products but Samsung really outdid itself with the QLED Q9F 75inch. Wow. Watching any movie or show on this TV is truly an experience. The images are breathtaking. The picture quality is out of this world. Nothing I have ever seen or experienced before. You feel like you are in the scene and in the middle of all the action. The large screen makes us feel like we are in a movie theatre, but better because we are in our living room. We, as a family, find ourselves watching more movies together at home (i.e., Jurassic Park) rather than going to the movies because the quality and images are better on this TV than at the theatre. Every image on this TV is vivid and vibrant. We have never experienced such outstanding TV quality. The TV is the focal point of our living room. This TV is unbelievably incredible. Aside from the amazing images, the features are incredible and it is so user friendly. It took us only moments to install it and start enjoying it. When we have company over we like to use the Ambient Mode to set the tone for the evening, whether it is a dinner party or family gathering. We love it because it makes the TV a centerpiece and talking piece. It is like having an additional frame in our living room but the only difference is that this “frame” brings life to the party and creates an exciting atmosphere for our guests. We have been fortunate to watch all the 2018 FIFA World Cup games on this TV and it feels like we are on the sidelines of the games. There aren’t enough adjectives or words to describe this TV or how you just become immersed in the show or movie you are watching because of the large screen and the bright and vibrant colors. As I mentioned above, watching anything on the QLED Q9F 75inch is truly an experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Q9 also includes the Samsung "OneConnect" box. If you haven't heard, the OneConnect box is an external mainboard device that connects to the Q9 via a single cable, and houses the TV's audio and video ports. You also need the OneConnect for any and all software/smart features, so definitely take care with it. This one is quite a bit bigger than the "OneConnect mini," which is included with more affordable Samsung TVs.
On the OneConnect box, you'll find a robust selection of ports: four HDMI ports (all HDCP 2.2/HDMI 2.0 compatible); three USB 2.0 inputs; a coaxial input (for cable or satellite connections); an optical audio port; and a LAN (ethernet) input. Notably missing are component and composite inputs, but I imagine if you're thinking about buying a TV of this pedigree, you're not using red, white, and yellow AV cables anymore

Didn't believe all the bad reviews on the q9f. I got the 75", very vivid colors, inky blacks. When watching its as if the movie is going on right in front of you, as if there is no tv there at all and the actors are just putting on a live performance in the middle of the room! I think most people give this tv a bad rap because of its high price. Which if purchased they would realize it is well worth it. The other reason for poor reviews is that it is edge lit rather than direct back lit. My previous tv was a Samsung js9500, it was direct back lit not edge lit. This edge lit q9f by far out performs the js9500 in every way possible. Just goes to show what Samsung can do with an edge lit tv. Oled look out, Qled has all the pluses of Oled and more, like brighter and more vivid colors. Without all the negatives of Oled like burn in and brightness and color degradation over time. The Q9f has an outstanding picture in the brightest of rooms as well as dark rooms. Oled sucks if not being viewed in an entirely dark theater type room. People wonder why Samsung priced this tv as high as Oled tvs or even higher than some Oled tvs but if they were to actually purchase it they would realize that it should be priced the same as Oled or even higher because it performs as well without any of the drawbacks that Oled have. One more thing that some reviewers give it a bad rap is being it is edge lit They assume it will have a bad viewing angle. It does not, every seat in my living room looks as stunning as sitting directly in front of it!! I was very sceptical in purchasing an edge lit tv at this price. When looking into reviews it made me even more sceptical because of all the bad reviews on this tv. But let me tell you don't believe every thing you read on the internet. And as far as edge lit, it is lit on both sides as compared to the q7 and q8 which are lit from the bottom. The q9f really proves that Samsung really can do more with less!! In my opinion this is by far the best tv of 2017. Ya Oled is really good in a dark room but the q9f is just as good in a dark room and it leaves Oled in the dust when you turn the lights on. It is also way better than Oled when watching hdr material because of how bright this tv can get. This tv was made for hdr material. So don't be like me and spend lots and lots of time reviewing all the tvs available, pros and cons of each tv because of all the bad rap people give this tv you will be really hesatent to purchase the q9f and probably pass on it because of its high price. Some people also claimed it had bad banding. Well I'm here to tell you that the 75" has no banding at all. So if you have the cash go for it, I will tell you I had second thoughts on my purchase when reading all the bad reviews. But once installed it was obvious you can't believe everything you read. So if you are even considering purchasing this tv all I can say is don't believe All the bad hype they gave this tv and pull the trigger and get it. You won't be disappointed in any way!!!!
