My old washer ran great for 18 years and I replaced it this month. Not impressed, clothes are mangled when the load is finished. Impossible to get out the wrinkles even on permanent press. I tried pulsed and regular, same results. Clothes washed so far lost their finish. I did not notice until delivered that there was no gentle or knit cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is noisy and pieces of it broke off on the inside and punctures the water tubing and leaked water all over my laundry room. After repair still not working well.

My Washer is only three years old and it failed totally. I had to junk it. I'll never buy a GE again.

Multiple Control Selections

I just had this installed and I love the multiple control selections. It is so quiet I gon't even have to shut the laundry room door to watche tv or have a conversation with someone.

Within a year after I bought the washer, I had problems with the machine.
GE sent a repairman twice, then replaced the machine without question.

i would like for the people who design this machine take it home and use it and let your family wear the clothes and sleep on the bedding after you have used it a few times, maybe you will think twice before selling to other families.
