CANT PRINT BLACK AND WHITE WHEN RED INK IS EMPTY!!

I am having to resubmit this review as the previous review was rejected.
Anyhow, the printer is decent, nice large tray for paper, clever scanner, good build quality, and I like the ease of access to the ink but......
I couldn't print a black and white postage label because I was out of magenta ink......
Seriously, what are you doing? Do you realise how much hassle you caused me. There is no good reason for this to be the case and the fact I couldn't override it was incredibly infuriating.
Thats my review.

Ideal for my office

This printer does everything a small office might need. It copies, prints & scans well. I haven't used it for faxing. I particularly wanted to be able to print/copy A3 in colour and to have duplex capability. I'm happy with the print speeds.
It is a fair size & weight (as another reviewer has mentioned), but it fits perfectly on top of a standard sized 3- or 2-drawer filing cabinet providing there's space alongside for access.
It's early days, but everything seems to work well and it has good connectivity.

Great For Small Business

Running a multimedia and graphic design business, this printer now means I can print up to A3 size to supply small runs of brochures and A4 booklets to clients.
I like the "quiet mode". Considering the printer is against a wall shared with my neighbour, I always use it in quiet mode unless I am in some kind of hurry. This means it does everything much slower but it's quiet enough to use at night. I also like to think that it might extend the life span of the machine running everything at half-speed all the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer for all needs

I was apprehensive about getting this printer due to the size of it but I am glad I did. The ease of use is great, simple plug and play and detected my wifi straight away. Also the print quality and speed is great, and in silent mode the printing is still quick and as the mode states, silent. I would thoroughly recommend this printer to anyone with a small home office.

A good business printer

Really good printer with excellent scanning and printing facilities. I dont use the fax, but set up looked really easy. Wirless connectivity to a wide range of devices, including Ipads and phones. The only "issue" is that it is quite a heavy printer, so if you are looking for lightweight this aint the one. It is really sturdy and the interface is brilliant to use. No complaints whatsoever so far.

not cheap, plain nasty!

We have had this printer for 10 months. It is easy to set up, print quality is as good as anything else on the market, ink consumption is excellent, but that is the only thing going for it. Build quality is worse than Christmas crackers. There are no separate trays for A3 and A4. It is slow to interact with computer on a wireless setting. It is slow in printing drawings, even on its fastest setting. It will not print a section of a drawing on A3 despite all settings being shown A3. It is a fairly decent machine, but HP makes far superior printers at this price range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this printer for the start up of my business. It was easy to set up and so far has been excellent at printing what I need it to. The cartridges aren't too expensive to replace either. I would definitely recommend this printer for a small office.
