An excellent pot for making Gumbo with a roux for a large crowd. The roux doesn't burn, and the gumbo comes out delicious! I feel like I made a very wise purchase--good quality for the cost!

We wanted to buy a 12 QT stock pot as we were using a tri-ply small cookware from a Brazilian brand. That is a good vessel but now they make this one in China so we were in doubt. So we tried Cuisinart, amazing!! this one is better than the other brand. We use it for cooking some Indian food where we need the steam not to go out and this stock pot is really good for that. And the pot is very cute and very shiny. Great. We planned to buy only Cuisinart now.
