Mouse does not have functional smooth scrolling as promoted
on May 16, 2023
Posted by: Ruedinger,Joe
I hate the mouse! I was looking for a smooth scroll wheel mouse and this one was supposed to be it. It has a button to change from notched-type scrolling that most mice seem to have, to smooth rolling wheel. And I thought this was the answer but, it may roll smoothly but the curser on the screen still jumps the same amount as when in notched rolling mode. It jumps at least an inch on the screen when browsing. I did find an adjustment in the settings for smooth scrolling but then scrolling doesn't come to a quick stop. And when in CAD the scroll wheel controls zoom so the window zooms out on its own sometimes, especially when moving the curser back to the CAD screen from another window.

B key is not working.
on April 18, 2023
Posted by: Ramkumar S.
Loved the keyboard and mouse.
Easy to setup
soft keys
Easy to switch between multiple devices.
There is one big downside here. The B key is sticky and does not appear when you press the B key. You need to Press hard on B keys to appear. As I am writing the review, B key was not appearing until I press two times. sometimes when I press B key twice, it is more sensitive and print 2 letters.
It is really frustrating as I have to spend more time with corrections. I had performed some testing and it only happens with B key. Other keys seems to be working fine.
I tried all the work-arounds(reset the batteries/ replace new batteries/ restart multiple devices/ un-paired and re-paired etc., none of them solved the issues.
I have been using this for a week and I am not happy with the corrections I need to make due to b letter missing. Probably will return this

Exactly what I needed
on April 15, 2023

I've been using a K800 and M325 combo for years. I started working from home full time a couple years ago and have been using a USB switch to share the mouse and keyboard between my home PC and work Macbook. Totally acceptable but a bit annoying needing to tap that switch and also change the input of my primary 27" screen that is also shared between the two machines - smudge the screen, bump the monitor off-center, almost knock over a coffee or water.
I started researching ways to switch monitor input using Display Data Channel (DDC) protocols, maybe triggering scripts with a USB foot pedal or something like that. Could I hack that switch with the switch sharing the Logitech Unifying Receiver?
I happened to be browsing for a new mouse, something more comfortable, came across the MK850 combo and the new Flow solution. I'd used Synergy years ago to share keyboard and mouse between Windows and Mac, and more recently Mouse Without Borders between two Windows machines, so I'm familiar with the concept and the sometimes touchy screen edge transfers. Once I got Flow set up and the keyboard linking to the mouse, it's been working pretty consistently and I just simplified my cable management by removing the USB switch altogether.
Best thing of all is that with the Options+ software I've configured one of the programmable keys to switch monitor inputs via batch script and ControlMyMonitor in Windows and a simple Automator app with m1ddc on the Mac. Custom KVM solution without the KVM box and extra wires!

Broke a year and a half in
on April 11, 2023
Posted by: Dasta
This is a decent mouse/keyboard combo when it works, but after only a year and a half the mouse has broken and the left mouse button can't consistently click and often now double-clicks or more. Makes it a huge PITA to try and click and drag, select stuff or highlight anything. Also makes it impossible to reliably game.

Keys are soft, mushy feeling.
on March 20, 2023

Keys are soft, mushy feeling. The whole keyboard is a little tight for my hands. I worry about the longevity of the fabric on the palm rest. Overall it feels light and flimsy compared to many other Logitech products I have owned.
