best littel qwerty around with out too much bling

this is a reliable reality based basic cell phone with convienience built in such as the fully functioning qwerty key board for texting and other comunication functions you realy need for this type of phone it is user friendly and convieniently sized for pocket or belt clip carrying has very good battery life and can deal with ruff conditions with ease a real winner for samsung as you can tell i realy have no complaint about this product.its the real deal
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use, all the rigth stuff

Its great they added durability to this phone. It definitely takes the Intensity 2 and makes it a thing of the past along with all the problems that came with it. Great job.

A good basic "dumb phone"

Needed to replace my old flip phone and thought I'd try slider. I told the salesman I needed a basic phone and she highly reccomended this one. After about 2 weeks i thought it was time to review. First of it does a good job of what its intended do calling and texting. Its the right size to slip into your pocket. The only downside the numbers and the keyboard are a lil on smallish side if you have big fingers. Other than that nice product.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

Overall it is a good phone. Good reception and rugged design. But, for the middled aged whose eyes aren't as good as they used to be, the text is really small and not enough fonts to choose from. If the text input could be increased, then this would be a great phone.

Great Messaging Phone

This update to the popular Intensity brand features an improved camera (2.0 MP) and a video recorder, which is a much-needed update. The phone is ready for extreme conditions with its rubbery body and solid feel, and is reported to be able to withstand extreme heat and cold, drops and dust resistant. It, however, is not water resistant. Long battery life and superior voice quality make this phone a winner.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable

alarm doesn't work

Purchased as prepaid phone; was affordable and had the features I was looking for. I've had the phone for a little over 2 months and have used it for a total of one week. Alarm feature simply doesn't function correctly. If I had looked online at reviews of the phone I would have discovered that there are hundreds of complaints about this issue. My phone has been returned to Samsung 3 times so far and the alarm feature still doesn't work. I will try again but am not very hopeful; with the extent of complaints on this issue I'm surprised the model is still on the market. I'm also surprised I'm the first to review it on the manufacturers website. The reviews of complaints were found on carrier's websites. I can say that if the problem isn't corrected I won't ever purchase a Samsung product again.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

DON'T BUY THIS PHONE

This is the worst phone I've ever had. It will show you how much usage your sd card has but will not allow you to open anything from the card. All of my music pics etc are on my sd card but I cant use them now. They tell you to format your card, I took a blank sd card and did the format then put everything off the first sd card to that one and still it didnt work. They said make sure it is a Sandisk, it is. Nothing helps. It doesn't have apps available to download music, wont sync to my laptops library, doesnt have much to chose from on wallpapers or anything. The font on large is way too small. I can barely read it. The spacebar gets stuck constantly too. If you want to only make calls and text then buy it. However if you like using the stuff on your sd card, downloading music, getting cool game apps or actually apps of any kind, like the web and take a lot of pictures then turn around and run away dont buy this phone. I wish I could trade it for something else or get my money back one or the other. I've activated it so now I am stuck with it.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, wont read sd cards, only has 5 apps you can get on it, spacebar sticks, internet is slow
