We have a limited space in an apartment style kitchen. This Danby model is the only bottom freezer model which combined function and features we need. Its been in operation for several months and we still are happy about our choice. Keep making this one, Danby, as we will be back for another some day

Great little off grid fridge!

My husband and I purchased this fridge last year. We live off grid on solar power and it’s just the two of us. We also have a small chest freezer. Our old fridge was .6.7 amps compared to this @1.7 amps. Deep freezer is also 1.7 amps. Point is that we can run this fridge w our small deep freezer, 24x7, for amidst 1/3 of the power that it used to take w the big standard size fridges. Also I am only 5’2” and always had a hard time reaching the top of the fridge. This is perfect for us. Love, love, love it.

Great value, space saving, energy saving

I've only had 1 very tall pitcher that wouldn't fit because of height limitations. The freezer drawer takes a good tug to pull out to access contents. Had this frig for about 3 years. No problems. I also noticed it often makes lots of gurgling noises but never seems to be a problem, never has broken down. etc. Trays and shelving holding up well - no breaks. Still quite pleased with this purchase.

Great extra refrigerator/freezer for us to keep in the garage; perfect size and space in both areas. Two improvements could be made: wish there was a light in the freezer that is on when the door is open, ideally one self in the fridge should move to allow taller bottles/items.
