[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problems with this cooktop. After a short learning curve, cooking with induction is easier and more efficient than either gas or electric. One negative with these glass cooktops is they get scarred up over time. They are easy to clean after use, but I wish they had more durable surfaces, like phones.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the performance of this unit. It repsonds so well. Must faster than gas and responds so quick. This is my favioate cooktop I have ever used. The only thing I don't like is I wish the buttons to control the power were better, the little dots between the numbers are a "half" setting and it took me awhile to learn this. It doesn't make a lot of sense and it's hard to tell the dots did anything and it's hard to see on the control panel when you are inbeween numbers, it's just a small dot after the number.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be happier with our induction cooktop. We do most of our meals at home and have had gas as well as electric appliances. Having used induction now for a few months my wife and I agree we will never use anything else. The cleanup is so easy since the surface doesn't get very hot, and the speed at which you can boil water are the biggest selling factors but I also think the heat is more even as I've noticed very nice browning without being concentrated in the center like a traditional electric stove. It also seems to respond more quickly to temperature changes, so if you need to reduce the heat slightly to control boiling it's like using a gas stovetop in that regard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had induction cooktop for 10 years, a GE profile. It finally quit and had to get another one. I searched all the reviews and it seemed Bosch had the best reviews. The only thing is I have to turn the burners up to 8 to get a pan hot where as the ge was only 5 or 6. Also the glass seems harder to clean. But all in all I like it.
