Love induction cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 36" 500 Series induction cooktop for my kitchen renovation in November 2016. It took a few days to get used to, but overall, it was really easy. It cooks evenly and quickly. My favorite feature is the independent timer for each burner that automatically shuts off the burner when done. I set timers for each burner. Perfect rice and no more mushy veggies. I also love the huge central burner for my all-in-one pot meals. With 5 burners available, I can cook any meal. Sadly, we were just transferred to a new state and I miss this cooktop so much that I plan to get it again.

I bought this almost 12 months ago. Dimensions, instructions for install were perfect and enabled my cutout to be adjusted once. All the heating spaces can be on at the same time. The half precision in the temperature controls is really good for fine-tuning the temperature especially when you looking multiple dishes in a row (multiple omelettes) and want to maintain a good temperature. The boost heat gets water boiling in a real jiffy, much faster than gas. the responsiveness of the heating elements is as good as gas but the clean up is 100 better because you can wipe it off so easily. No scratches yet inspite of using heavy items on it. I love the timer function and have used it multiple times to leave things on and have them go off automatically. before i would have to babysit the pots on the stove and invariably get to them after they have burned to boiled over. This is a real good device and well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the unit a couple of months ago. Have had a lot of problems with one set of burners spontaneously shutting down. Technician has decided to change out a board which he thinks is defective.

The cooktop performs beyond my expectations but the touch controls are tricky! Wet or oily fingers won't work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cooktop to replace another brand that was failing. We love the induction cooking experience, so we decided to stay with the same type of cooktop. We were looking for a quality made product that will last. After doing extensive research, we decided to go with a Bosch. I just installed it yesterday and it works great. Now we will wait as see about longevity......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had induction cooktop for 10 years, a GE profile. It finally quit and had to get another one. I searched all the reviews and it seemed Bosch had the best reviews. The only thing is I have to turn the burners up to 8 to get a pan hot where as the ge was only 5 or 6. Also the glass seems harder to clean. But all in all I like it.

Induction is all we will buy from now on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be happier with our induction cooktop. We do most of our meals at home and have had gas as well as electric appliances. Having used induction now for a few months my wife and I agree we will never use anything else. The cleanup is so easy since the surface doesn't get very hot, and the speed at which you can boil water are the biggest selling factors but I also think the heat is more even as I've noticed very nice browning without being concentrated in the center like a traditional electric stove. It also seems to respond more quickly to temperature changes, so if you need to reduce the heat slightly to control boiling it's like using a gas stovetop in that regard.

Sleek and modern, but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this glass cooktop is a nightmare to keep looking clean and it scratches terribly! The controls are descent and somewhat intuitive, once you figure out there are half steps between temperatures. I was disappointed to learn that the surface is hot to the touch. What's the point of making it only usable with certain stainlesss cookware if the surface is still hot to the touch?
