I love this device it's easy to use my 4 yr old son easily maneuvers thru it. Durable fast and tough. The sound quality is great too it's not inaudible like a lot of gadgets these days
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, fast, easily carried, not slippery
Cons: needs more memory, too many unused system apps, should of came with micro sd card
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great but could use some key upgrades

Just enough power for kids learning games and video playback. My child loves it and plays games not even realizing they are learning games. Although the games require a subscription they are great quality and ad free. Samsung kids locks out the rest of the tablet for ease of use and protecting your child from venturing off into the devices settings or internet.
Despite the cons this is a great device but would like to see key feature standards for all devices including ones meant for kids.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, ease of use, kid zone, battery life
Cons: slow charging, no gorilla glass, ui is a tad sluggish, games require monthly subscription
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not family friendly

This is not family friendly as the product name would suggest. It will not work with Family Link from Google. So you can not adequately control the apps and access on it.
Also, it doesn't work with some of the cooler kids applications like the Kano Coding app needed for the Harry Potter coding Wand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great kids tablet

We purchased this after our Nabi dream tab was discontinued and couldnt .net replaced.Our 3 and 5 year old love the learning apps. I love the battery life! The battery lasts as long as a cell phone or longer! We will likely purchase the monthly app subscription after the 3 month trial, if our kids continue to play with it as much ad they do now.
On the other end, i would prefer a more protective case. This device also lacks a screen protector. Our Nabi had a hard plastic case with a rubber protector and it fell on the floor face down and cracked the screen I would like to see something a little more protective on this device and I would be willing to pay for it. OTTERBOX would .net ideal. Also this Tab only has 8gb of memory, however u can add an SD CARD for more storage, We have about 50 games downloaded and used up the memory.

I love the kids mode it's full of fun age appropriate games and books, it is password protected so my kids can't leave kids mode without me knowing first.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

I bought this tablet Mt realizing it cannot be upgraded to the newest versions of android; however, for the price it is veryour affordable and gets the jobs done that I need it to do. The tablet itself is like a rock! Sturdy and indestructible (or so it seems bevause I have dropped it several times without a case). The camera itself is not of high quality but I have another damaging hand held device that connectshe me to friends ando family that I use for pictures :) ! I am very happy with this purchase even though it says for kids because the price and versatility.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, smaller than what i thought

Good tablet for casual use

This is the first Samsung tablet that my family has purchased. Compared to the other brand that we have, I find the Samsung to be a nice, light weight that is comfortable to hold in one hand but will connect to the internet and load a page quickly. I don't find that it lags between pages and the colors displayed are vibrant but not unrealistic. I feel the price may be a bit low for this tablet but am pleased that I could find one in the range I was willing to pay.
