As a very loyal Samsung customer, I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. She is no stranger to Samsung products as she can navigate my own devices. Only after un-boxing, setting up, and cutting her lose on her own device did we notice there is no front facing camera. One of her favorite things to do is take pictures of herself and edit them, draw on them, what have you. I am shocked that this feature was not included, when it has become such a basic feature on adult devices and other brand's kid-friendly devices. While purchasing this device without checking for such a feature is my own fault, I am very disappointed that it was even designed without it.
Cons: no front facing camera
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The speaker is in a bad place you can't listen to it lying flat. The screen had to be moved to see it clear, the camera quality is not the greatest.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Great for small kids

My son loves his new tablet. It works perfect for small kids. It is durable and has great learning apps pre-installed and having the option to download many others in the app store, this allows the tablet to grow with your kid. I have always been impressed with Samsung products and this tablet is no different!!!

I have a tab 3 lite and wanted to purchase a new one. I chose the Tab E lite 7. From the reviews, sounds like a tablet I can handle. I like it so much, I purchased 2 more for my Grandsons. They Love it!! They are 8 and 9. years old. They had digiland tablets for quite sometime. So they learned a lot from them. Now they feel they have really advanced with this tablet. It keeps them busy. Battery last so much longer. It's so many things they can do on this tablet.

I got this for my Mom & Dad in Law and I expect it to work very well for them. The screen is bright and easy to read. The interface is simple. My only complaint is I got the review email to my Dad in Laws account and had to intercept it to keep his Christmas gift a surprise.

I've owned 3 samsung tablets and i ordered two more for my grandkids. These tablets are very well made and withstand quite an abuse from the kids. For the price, you just can't beat it with a stick.
