Great for old books!

I bought this scanner specifically for being able to scan antique books and magazines without damaging them. It works great for this purpose, although there is a bit of a learning curve with regards to moving the device properly to get quality scans (my first several attempts came out a bit wobbly). I find running the device sideways across the pages actually gave better results in many cases, especially when dealing with old books that are slightly warped. Overall, I am very happy with this scanner. I just wish it came in a bigger size, as I would love to be able to scan larger pages and photographs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
