I can't believe I finally got this phone, it is everything I knew it would be and much much more. I have never seen a device charge so fast in my life. The battery life is outstanding, the best I have seen on a high end device. Everything runs fluid and smooth, all text and pictures are crisp and clear. The camera exceeded my expectations. No problems with overheating like my s3. Not real fond of the new OS Lollipop but that is only a small complaint and I can deal with it. I also do not like that you can't disable all the not so important apps, you can disable quite a few but not all. I love the customization it offers. The phone downloads very very fast. The sound quality is superb. The phone is very thin, sleek and light weight. I love that it has the cover on the charging port. But I think the one thing that makes this phone a real gem is the fact that it charges lightning fast and that the battery lasts a very very very long time. While I slept 8 hours it only used 1% and the first day i got it I played with it 12 hours straight and it only used 49% thats with streaming youtube and web browsing and lots of downloading, all the heavy stuff....Yes this phone costs more than most people's rent but I promise it is worth every penny.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, lightning fast charging, battery life
Cons: lollipop os

I recently bought this phone and there havent been any down times yet. I'm continually impressed by new things I discover that this phone has to offer. If you decide to buy this phone, you won't regret it. And it's still pretty modern although new galaxy models are out.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Very fast phone. Awesome resolution on the display. Plays videos so vivid and clear, no delays. I added a 128 gig sd card for all my music and a couple of videos. I bought this over the S6 because of the fact you can't add a sd card to the S6 at this time. Not happy either that you can't change the battery in an S6. But so glad I bought the S5. Best phone I ever had and it might be a little pricey but worth every penny. You simply can't say a bad thing about it. So much better than I thought it would be.
I recently upgraded from an S3. When I compared the S5 & the S6, I went with the S5 for 2 BIG reasons: First the S5 has expandable MicroSD memory (S6 doesn't). Second, S5 has a removable battery (again, S6 doesn't). The memory is important for obvious reasons. The battery is important to me, because though it doesn't happen often (the S5 has been very stable & responsive, so far), occasionally ALL phones lock up and/or need to be reset. On rare occasions, the only way to do this is to remove the battery & "force" a restart - which cannot be done, if the battery can't be removed. Frankly, the S5 has all of the features that I absolutely LOVED in the S3, plus much better battery life, and a few new features that I've fallen in love with (I get a kick out of the fingerprint scanner!). Meanwhile, I look at the S6 & think "I might as well by an I-Phone". They're very pretty, but I hope Samsung returns to the S5 design for the next model. I would definitely continue buying the Galaxy family if that's the case. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to look for something else, which is a real shame because I really do love this phone - even switching the data to the new device was AMAZINGLY simple.
Excellent phone, has lots of improvements over the S4 to give you everything you need. Would expect the price point to be a bit lower with the release of the S6 is the only con so far in my month with it.
