Elite Platinum Toaster Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice-sized little toaster oven. I like the way it bumps out in the back to accommodate a 12" pizza. The construction is sturdy stainless steel. The knobs are also sturdy, but the print is quite tiny and a little hard to read.
I preheated the oven when I tested baking a frozen pizza. The highest heat level is 450deg. but it did not get any hotter than 425deg., as verified by two different oven thermometers. My pizza should have taken 25 minutes at the most, but it took almost 40 minutes for it to be done with golden crust, melted cheese, and thoroughly cooked.

One safety hazard that I noticed is that the rack pulls out so easily that I almost dumped a hot pizza into my lap. There should be a way to stop the entire rack from coming out - maybe add an under-over-type notch to hold the rack until one wants to lift it out for cleaning.
My other complaint is that the included instruction booklet is very brief and not helpful for how to use the convection setting to enhance cooking, among other things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this oven so much it gets used every day . The toast and bake features work very well. It comes up to 350 degrees in about 4-5 minutes and as long as you don't hold the door open too long, retains it well. With the rack on its lowest setting, it's big enough to get a good boule loaf from our local bakery inside, although if it's a taller loaf the top can get slightly charred. Great toaster oven, love the stainless steel design. There is a crumb tray that slides in and out from the front of the toaster oven, which is a real convenience compared with previous units used ,

Great Oven/ Poor Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven works really great for biscuits and cinnamon rolls that I've tried. Love the convection feature. Size of the unit is more compact than similar ovens I've had in the past, which is good. Toaster makes the bread very stiff/hard. Also a minor issue is the timer...it is calibrated at 5 minute intervals which makes precise settings difficult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Elite Platinum toaster oven works flawlessly! It works as it should ,easy to use . You can basically make everything in it as you can in an oven. It's nice looking in my kitchen and it doesn't take up much counter space at all. It fits perfectly on the counter and I still have room to do things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Elite Platinum 6 Slice Toaster Oven/12" Pizza Stainless Steele for over a week and I absolutely love it. It really exceeded my expectations. You want a toaster oven that evenly toasts and cooks your food and that's exactly what it does. Even following the directions on temperatures, you can't go wrong. I even tried a K.C. steak and it didn't have any problems with it being dry. Directions are very simple to follow and it even comes with recipes. Another big plus is that it does take up very much room on your counter. I enjoyed using it

Elite Platinum Toaster Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a toaster oven so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We made a FULL size frozen pizza in it the first day. We added extra toppings, and baked it directly on the wire rack. The pizza was hot & delicious great to have two heating elements. Clean up was fairly easy, only had to clean the wire rack. I hate leftover pizza warmed up in the microwave, and used the toaster oven with the small metal tray to warm up the leftovers. Much tastier than in the microwave. We have also used it for toast which also worked great. I have not tried the broiler yet. Not a huge unsightly object on the kitchen counter, would fit nicely in our pantry, Only negative is the dials on the front are difficult to read, but I’m sure we’ll get used to it!

Great value and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a former toaster oven and have been real happy with its toasting speed and baking ability. The design is nice and its ability to heat in a variety of ways is excellent. For many things, including pizzas, this is much quicker and easier to use than heating up a standard oven. The oven does make more noise while cooking that my past model, seemingly because the metals are expanding with the heat. It's minor though.

Nice toaster oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this toaster oven. It is deeper that I have owned before. The booklet says it will fit a 12" pizza but I have not tried it. It does seem to take up a bit more room on the front of the counter but I don't mind that. Maybe and inch or two. It has many temperature setting but I mainly use for toasting bagels and English muffins. It has plenty of room to toast several slices of bread at once. It comes with a nice metal tray as well. I would recommend buying.
