Awesome 360 Sound

I have had the Bose SoundLink Revolve for a few weeks now and it great. The 360 sound is awesome. I use the Soundlink Resolve in my bedroom and kitchen. It connects easy to my iPhone. The vocals are clear with just enough bass. I watch a Netflix movie on my tablet and used the SoundLink Resolve to play the sound. For such a small speaker, the sound was great. Now it does not have the movie theater sound quality for playing movies but it was good enough for the purpose I used it for, since I was on my balcony watching a movie. The setup was easy...maybe about a minute to link my iPhone and get going listening to music. I like the waterproof feature for listening outside.

Love the Easy!

I am not tech savvy at all. I'm practically illiterate when it comes to technology. So I love it when I have something that makes using it easy and effortless. There are no tricky bells and whistles to this device. You simply unbox, plug in and start using. There's a nice boop boop sound letting you know its plugged in and charging. Turn on the button at the very top and it asks what language you want to use. You can scroll through the languages using the + or - keys. When you've come to the language you desire, select the multifunction key. Its the key directly across from the power button with three dots.
Pairing with your device is easy. Turn Bluetooth or NFC on and choose the Bose Soundlink.
I like that you can charge the soundlink and move to another room.
I definitely suggest downloading the Bose Connect app on your phone. With the app you can control volume, connect to another soundlink and have two playing music in different rooms; set a timer for the music to turn off or stay on; change the language; or check out the user manual.
The user manual shows you how to pause songs, skips songs, skip back on songs, make calls, reject calls, accept calls, skip between calls, end calls, or mute and unmute calls. All the usual stuff.
This device is easy and convenient. Great for large get-togethers. I would recommend to anyone who has parties or family events where music is a big deal. Another great feature is it has an AUX port (no cord) so you can connect to a speaker and do some surround sound. I like that I can connect it to my record player as well and let the sound amplify. I can play songs from my phone onto my record player while keeping my phone with me.

Just what I was looking for!

I have been looking for a speaker just like this. It is lightweight and small, but packs a punch! The sound quality is as amazing as you would expect from Bose. The 360 sound is incredible. I use this at home connected to my laptop, or I'll connect it to my phone via Bluetooth and steam music. With the Bose Connect App you can control volume, see what song is playing, and other features. This is also great to bring on trips, or use outside. It is water resistant so you can bring it pretty much anywhere you want great sound. It is very user friendly. There is a voice that will tell you when the device is connected which does get a little old, but luckily you can turn that feature off. Overall, it's an outstanding device and I would recommend it to anyone. It is so versatile that you can use it in almost any situation and have excellent sound. Another great product from Bose.

I love this wireless / Bluetooth speaker! My friends and family enjoyed it when I took it to a family get together. It's real easy to connect with anything that has Bluetooth. It's small enough to fit into my bag and I can take it anywhere. For a small little thing, it's very loud with great sounds! I take it to every little occasion that I can so I can blast music and everyone enjoys it! Me and my kids loves it!

Sound really fills the home

Been looking for a speaker that will do more then just play music in a single room. This speaker does the job, I place it in my living room and while I'm cleaning the house I can hear it all over. The crazy thing is it sounds just as good when I go to the basement and it is still upstairs.

Loved it! Sounds was great I could bring it into any room with me. It connected very easily to all the phones in the house. Battery seemed to stay charged well. I just love it so easy to use!

Remarkable Little Speaker!

Let me start by saying that I have a few other speakers to compare this model to. These include: Amazon Echo, Echo Bose SoundTouch 10. These are all in the same genre of speaker I would say. Please see the picture for a side by side comparison.

First the size: it is about the size of a soda can. It actually has a very solid weight to it. It's surprisingly heavy for it's size. Definitely not cheap feeling!
The sound: I have to say, this thing is VERY impressive! It sounds incredibly clear and has plenty of bass to fill out the sound. The volume is fantastic! It gets loud enough to very clearly fill a modest sized room. I haven't used it outside yet, but I would imagine it has plenty of volume for use at the beach.
If you like having music next to the pool, then the splash resistance is yet another plus.
The sound completely destroys the Echo Dot. No comparison. My larger Echo is currently in storage, but based on my memory this is much clearer sounding than that Echo.
The SoundTouch 10 of course gets louder and has more bass. It is the same price as this speaker, but doesn't have the splash resistance nor the rechargeable battery. So this speaker can fill a gap that the SoundTouch 10 cannot.
In summary, this speaker is pricey but well worth it. It is built very durably with a good weight and quality. I have no doubt that this will serve you for years to come!
The sound is best in class. There is no comparison to other speakers of similar size.
Do yourself a favor and buy this speaker! You won't regret it!

Not much to write home about - Bose just joined the bandwagon of 360 speaker
Bose, who was a spectator with a market full of 360 degree speaker, joined the much awaited bandwagon. Will it differentiate itself from the rest? One has to wait and see.
Physical appearance and feel
Bose has gone with a Conical Frustum approach with controls on the top plane. The controls are pretty basic - Power, Bluetooth, volume and voice controls. At the base of the frustum is contact point for a cradle charging station, which does not ship with the unit. The base is also lined up with rubber to provide the much needed friction and dampen the bass, so that the surface on which it stands does not vibrate or jarr. Mainly, there is this lovely socket to mount the unit on a tripod! That is pretty clever. Behind the unit is the charging port - Micro USB and a Aux line-in. One would have wanted a USB-C.

The unit is sturdy as with every other Bose product. There is no feeling of cheapness. Overall it has a good form factor.

Music Experience
Loud. That’s what came to my mind when I head the first piece of music through the device. Seems to be consistent with their marketing message, but the deep, powerful bass was missing - which others seem to quote. One can feel the music from every corner of the room, but some reason without the bass, I was not able to appreciate the effectiveness of the speaker. If one has to use the App to achieve it (via stereo mode), I would say the price point is way too over as the app is the selling unit than the speakers themselves. I have a wired bookshelf speakers set connected to my PC and they provide the clarity and bass for one-third price.
