Have some mercy on aging eyes!!

I LOVE this little guy! The sound is crisp, clear and powerful. My only objection is to the controls design. Instead of five depressions that are identical in the dark, and one with a texture to it, can we please have raised textures on at least the on/off button and the volumes? Or a light? I don’t wear readers when I’m relaxing on the porch with a glass of wine and end up pressing several buttons until I accidentally hit the one I want. I bet there’s a LOT of people out there in a similar situation. Maybe minus the porch and wine...

I bought this speaker about 6 months ago for my kitchen and back patio area, with plans to get another/compatible one for use in my living room and side patio area (after having JBL/Harman Kardon portable/bluetooth speakers for use at work, in my room, and in my bathroom). I waited awhile to make a review so that I could have a tried and true opinion of its features and function. In the end, I have to take 2 stars away for the two main features that it was advertised as having and that I wanted-bass and long battery life.
Don't get me wrong, the sound quality and clarity are okay for a little speaker; but, everyone has different defining characteristics for their music, and this speaker disappointed my expectations for the Bose brand. My other speakers, from the small JBL clip that I use at work to the larger Harman Kardon studio 5 that I have in my room, are beasts when it comes to sound, clarity, treble, and most especially bass. However, the Bose muffles the treble and bass when playing the same song/music-which is extremely disappointing since I expect those areas of deep bass to play and they aren't there....
As far as it playing up to 12 hours?!...Lies! This has never played for 12 hours-even if it has 100% power when I start. I am doing good if I get up to 6 or 7 hours of playback-and I use my phone's app, so that shouldn't be a factor in its power consumption since it's merely functioning as a speaker.
I really wanted to love this speaker... It is sleek, takes up minimal space, is simple to use, and has speakerphone functions-but that sort of sucks, too, because individuals have a hard time hearing me. I don't know...Maybe I got a dud. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the price or the hype Bose used for its advertising, so I won't be purchasing a compatible speaker to link with it because I'd hate to waste money and be disappointed again.

I finally replaced my old travel speaker with this and I am very surprised with how this small device can provide a very wide soundstage! The mids and high are so clear and the bass is so powerful.

Great sound, REALLY bad software

Since purchasing in January 2019, our SoundLink always disconnects at some point during use. The design and sound are fantastic, but I shouldn't have to reset or clear out my devices every time I use it. A big disappointment!

I bought one Revolve+ in triple black color and it sounds clear and vibrant so I decided to buy another one in Lux Grey now I can enjoy more great music either in Party mode or Stereo mode using the Bose Connect App

Stereo/party mode is horrible

Connectivity issues, skipping issues, distance problems. I have to set the pair no further than a couple feet without connectivity or skipping issues. Amazing sound but worthless if all you hear is skipping and the sound cutting out. I own a lot of Bluetooth devices and non have the issues like this. A lot of my Bluetooth devices I can go up to 60 feet away and Bose should say, “distance = 1 foot”. Save your money, you spend way too much for it not to work properly.

I purchased this for a portable room-to-room speaker and couldn't be happier! Not sure what kind of wizadry they use to get this sound out of these small units but I like it.
