Sound could be better

I buy Bose for it's quality products. This particular speaker has poor sound. I, also am disappointed with the design. I use this speaker for my sleep music, I cannot see the volume buttons in pure darkness, I, need to use a flash light to adjust the volume.

Voice prompts will not shut up!

The voice prompts are intensely annoying and will not stop. I'm listening to "Battery XX%. Connected to..." all day and all night. I turn the speaker off and the voice prompt comes back anyway. I tried the "push the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously" instruction to disable voice prompts and it did not work. The only solution was to put the speakers under a pile of pillows in a closet.

The speakerphone does not work with any apps

I love the design and and the build quality. However, the speakerphone only works on standard calls and will disconnect if you try to make a call via Skype or Messenger. Apparently, that's a known limitation which is a bit of a shame at this price. The sound is great for such a small thing until you turn the volume up to the max and then the distortion is too unpleasant. If you put it in the corner of the room it sounds amazing though.

Best Speaker Ever!

If you're a music lover like I am, and like to listen loud, this is the speaker for you. The sound that comes out of this little speaker is remarkable and was worth every penny. If you want to hear rock, or pop, or anything you love like it was meant to be heard, you need this speaker. And you can take it with you in the car... fits right in the cup holder. I wasted at least half of this cost on other lower cost speakers that never met my expectations. Don't waste yours! Believe me, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Not Waterproof

I actually love this product. Big sound in a little package. Easy to operate the Bluetooth... BUT .. It says it's water proof. This is not true. My speaker recently got wet from a minor splash by the pool. It is now useless ... I tried the rice trick but to no avail. I'm now deciding on whether or not to get another Bluetooth product similar. Very disappointed.

Connecting never works from the first try

If I try to connect via iphone or macbook, the speaker is seemingly connected, but the sound still does not come from the speaker. It takes a serious of turning off and on, connecting and disconnecting attempts until the speaker magically starts to play music. Super annoying! This is not an isolated issue, but simply the way this speaker works with apple products.

Best Speaker Ever!!!

Bought this over a year ago, it was gifted to me so I didnt think too much of it. I've been using regularly, and the sound quality is AMAZING. Haven't experienced the battery issues yet that people have complained about. Mine has kept its charge and the battery life is full.
