The griddle is not removable and therefore clean up is difficult. The oven door does not shut tightly and so the oven light remains on and the oven will not preheat.
Kitchen Aid has sent a service repair out four times to repair the oven and it is still not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

Purchased a year ago, had service out twice to repair large oven, but still does not work. It has ruined many meals and gatherings. Dealer is checking into this.
The oven light does stay on if you don't push door hard after closing, but I could live with that, just would like to have a working oven!!!

Not worth the money

We have had this range for almost 3 years and have had various problems with it. The griddle is very hard to clean properly and food sticks no matter what you use to keep it from sticking. It might be better if it was removable for cleaning. The burners are not good at low temperature cooking, so if you try to simmer, it ends up burning. The oven doors randomly lock while we are cooking in the ovens, then we can't get the food out. It takes a long time to get the doors open again. I thought the door locks were only supposed to engage during self cleaning, which we have never used..... The fans that kick on while the ovens are on are very loud and cause the floor to vibrate throughout the house. They also continuosly blow air out, which can be uncomfortable if you are trying to stand in front of it while cooking. The touch screen is terrible, especially if you spill something on it while cooking and it resets everything, or won't stop beeping. We have had to reset the oven a few times by flipping off the circuit breaker when the controls become unresponsive. Very inconvenient. For this kind of money, I expect a better product.

We got this with our new home. It cooks so even and fast and really is so convenient. The double ovens is a major plus especially with kids. We have 3 so cooking is so easy with this thing...meals and deserts cooked at the same time. Makes dinner together very easy. Make sure to get the matching vent hood with the food warning lamps! Makes Party cooking a breeze. Ps the temp gage for cooking meat is amazing and the oven is so quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dual burners with simmer function are a very useful feature. The controls are nicely laid out and easy to understand. The oven rockets up to temperature and stays steady. The only downside is the griddle takes a very long time to heat up. Not worth knocking a star off though. I'm looking forward to many delicious meals.

Excellent Cooking Tool!

My husband surprised me with this range. I enjoy the convection in both ovens and the space on the cook top. As you can see in the pictures, I have a 15" and a 13" skillet plus a 2 quart tea kettle on the top with plenty of room to spare. I cook for 6 people every day and it is wonderful to have all the options. The simmer burner is perfect for melting butter and the small oven is my go to for bread proofing. A hint for cleaning is to lock the control so you don't accidentally change your oven settings, oops, learned that one the hard way. I do wonder why the cook top area is black and not stainless, but it works, so I won't complain. I can get up to 6 9x13 pans in the large oven which is awesome for family dinners. The only thing that I would like changed is the alert sounds. If you are not in the kitchen you can not hear them even when they are set on loud. Thank you for such a quality product!

The range is awesome, no question. But the ovens are pretty bad. Food using convection bake setting is unevenly cooked, brown on bottom and raw on top. I have used convection ovens for 20+ years and never had this happen before. Also small oven is too small in my opinion. and large oven racks are not level! Cakes are 1/2" taller in back than front!
