It works great and is real nice but if you have a charging dock such as we do you have to take the cover completely off to use it... that is a real pain... otherwise it is excellent

Nothing but praise to sing about this product! It is the most durable and quality case I have ever had!! There's no doubt it could withstand any damage test thrown it's way, short of being run over by a massive truck! In fact, from my own experience, the truck caused very minor damage. I was amazed!!

I got this so I could listen to audible books and music on my iPad while working outside, hunting and fishing. I am "actively" retired, and so far it has stood up to sweat, dust and being dropped multiple times. While it is not designed to be water proof it is built well and is provides reasonable resistance to the elements. When I go hunting, I can slip it into a zip lock bag and/or put it in a jacket pocket in rain or snow. In short it is a great choice for a reasonable price.

Cons: would like the option to add a belt clip

I dropped my IPOD and broke the screen 3 days after I purchased it! I was so bummed so I bought this case a little too late. I wish I bought it before because I know this wouldn't have happened. When you buy an IPOD or IPHONE buy an otterbox immediately or else you risk breaking apple's delicate little devices. Thanks otterbox for making a good case, just wish the price was a bit less. It's a bit much for a case.

Stupid me had iPod in pocket while working in the garden. Soil particles scratching my Defender screen (sans protector) to the point of irritation for normal viewing. As a daily practicer of complaining, I notified the Otter folks for a simple screen replacement; they insisted that they simply replace the whole thing! Sent instructions that anyone could follow, I now have a new Defender around my Precious, now sporting a screen protector as well. Being especially clumsy I now am waiting for one to arrive for my IPad since it is more often used. Thanks, Otter folks
