Fits well, but the space between the screen ans cases is just enough that a lot of sensitivity of the devices touch screen is gone. But over all I very much like the case!

I have had this for over 3 years and while the case itself is now showing damage, the iPod has not received a scratch. I have dropped it many times and it has even been thrown at a ceiling fan and hit by it. The case has protected my iPod miraculously over the last three years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basically everyone tell me that my phone is big...iPhone 6s Plus, because of the otterbox, then they whip out thier phone and its in some horrible worthless case and the screen looks like it will shred fingers because of the worthless case and being dropped, I dont drop my phone on purpose, but if I do drop it 4-5 times in the last year, I brush it off and keep using it...no cracked screen, the case slides in and out of the poclet very easy, its my 3rd phone with the Defender case, never had a phone mess up, crack, break, whatever...oh, and when I get the new phone, my old one looks like brand new so I get top dollar on ther trade...

The Otterbox Defender Case fits the newest iPod Touch 5th generation like a glove. The device gets harsh treatment throughout the day and without the Defender it would be trash by now. Highly Recommended.
Note: All our devices (2 iPhone 5, 2 iPod Touch, iPad Mini) are fitted with Defender Cases. Just ordered a Defender Case for our iPad Air.

so worth the price... built to last, and even if a part shears off due to my own neglect they replace it free and quickly. Kids love them, and the box adds so much security. We've all dropped our phones, and this is the saving grace. Everyone Otter have one.
