The OtterBox protects from dust and shock very well. Wish it was sealed better to prevent moisture from getting in, but this would probably cause problems with the internal speaker in the Ipod. Overall a great investment to protect my Ipod.

I had an Samsung phone and used the Otterbox defender - I am an avid bicyclist and amazed at the protection the Otterbox had given when the phone had fallen out of a back pocket. I now have an Iphone and ordered the Otterbox Defender to protect the new phone! Thank you Otterbox!

We originally bought a different brand at teh SAME price and it was AWFUL. It wouldn't fit correctly and once we finally got it on it still wasn't quite right. I bought this case instead and it went on in a snap and is also easily removeable in case we need to clean it etc. LOVE it!
