Good phone but has issues

A good phone for the most part. The plastic case is too slick and makes it easy to drop the phone. Has weaker than expected cell signal and has a hard time establishing and maintaining a GPS lock. Even with GPS locked on a major interstate the phone will suddenly jump miles off of your actual location and start giving you directions on how to get back to the interstate from some random place and then jump back to your actual location. Bluetooth connection to my car is good but the music loses a significant amount of quality when listening that way. Old Phone would immediately connect to car for music and voice as soon as bluetooth was enabled, I have to manually connect the Galaxy S3 after I enable Bluetooth. The included Touchwiz software is ok, The water theme is nice to look at but I don't like any of the sound effects that go with it. The ringer volume is way too low and the vibration is way too soft. Can very easily miss calls or messages in loud environments. The keyboard software for Touchwiz is very inaccurate and requires a major overhaul as it is unusable.
I do like the fact the phone has an Micro SD card slot for expandable storage if necessary and the ability to remove the battery if a replacement were to be necessary.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, touchwiz calendar
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor gps and cell signals, touchwiz keyboard, ringer volume too low, vibration not strong enough
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like the s3 and the amazing things it can do. But I'm not to fond of the design. It looks almost Identical to the s2 and some might even say the s1. I wouldnt say a radical change needs to be made but something new, fresh and simple at the same time would be worth while. I am excited for the s4!
This is the best phone I have had. really fun to use.

Samsung Galaxy S III is as close to perfect as I have found

I received my Galaxy S III in the middle of December 2012, replacing an HTC Thunderbolt that I had for 2 years.
Right away, I was blown away by the speed of the S III - downloading a program was lighting fast. The design is perfect - a much bigger screen (4.7") so that I can be more productive. I enjoy the thinness of it, it's not too bulky.
The battery life has been a pleasant surprise - I have gone through days of a lot of usage and still had 40% or more left on the battery when it goes in the dock at night.
The display is very sharp and easy to read - don't need to use glasses to read my messages or surf the web.
The only negative I have is the on/off button on the side opposite the volume rocker. I am forever silencing my phone when I tap the on/off button to wake the phone up. I wish the on/off button was on the top and the volume rocker was on the right side of the phone.
All in all, it is a very solid phone and the best one I have owned to date.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, fast speeds
Cons: on/off button should be on top
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is amazing, It passed my standards by far. the speed is unreal and everything is so smooth and fluent. This device is great and will defiantly own another Samsung product. Maybe a Samsung Galaxy S4?? Hint Samsung..
I Love this phone. It is so much more than I could have imagined. There are so many features with the Android OS and then there are the features specific to the Samsung GSIII - S Beam, AllShare Cast, NFC makes things so much easier and faster. My phone is now an extension of me that I carry with mew wherever I go, I even keep it on me at home. I am so happy with my Galaxy S III it shows! : )
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: cannot multitask
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a wonderful, reliable phone. I have had it now for 5 months and have thrown everything at it but the kitchen sink and it's still ticking. Great display. Ease of use. Wonderful camera. Takes amazing pictures. Does the same thing my camera does but much easier to use. Got rid of my ipod because this handles all my music needs. Amazing experience all around.
